Hi guys, I was contemplating on coming back to SRO, but first would like to know if SRO is still the same as before..
1- are servers still hard to log in? 2- are there still a shitload of bots? (on newer servers)

Servers are getting back to being crowded again. I dunno if they removed the IP limit or something.

1. Depends on server.
2. 99% of sro still bots. When new servers first open that might not be the case. But after the first 2-3 weeks, it is.

1-You will probably still enter in first try or after 15 minutes max at most servers .
2-It is hard to have a party of +3 though because most bot or are powerleveled .

People always complain about bot's ksing their 8/8 euro parties. But it's honestly not that hard to get the bot killed. It's even easier now, thanks to the new pk status rules.
And no, I'm not talking about murdering any bot that comes across your path. Though you're more then welcome to do that. There's other things you can do that won't result in you getting murderer status. You've just got to get a little creative and abuse the new pk rules.

Warrior drags party mobs on bot, bard discord wave = bot dead. Someone attacks bot, if it attacks back, entire party kills = bot dead. haven't tried the horse trick in a while, it might still work. pop a pillar, run over to egg = easy kill for most except bladers. The one thing we haven't been able to do is get an entire 8 man party of bots killed. But I'm sure once you get the cleric killed, the rest will be easy. I'm sure there are more to use.

About killing an 8/8 man party. The key is to bash the cleric out of range and get it stuck on something. This worked exceptionally well in the Jangan tombs. For 3-4 days, we always had to kill a bot party by bashing their cleric through one of the near by portals. This usually broke their bot.
And if that didn't, after we bashed the the cleric through a portal, we'd follow him through the portal and bash him somewhere beside a wall. They never come back from that.

And Equal, about the pillar, i only understood that you should kill the pillar, but then? ^^ Couple of ways we've done it - shield bash bot over by pillar, warrior takes aggro, rest of party backs up, bard does discord. or wiz pops pillar from a long distance, then runs like hell, hoping bot will AOE and take aggro. Sometimes the bot is by the teleporter in the cave and it's easier yet. Rest of the party goes through, one guy pops pillar and runs through the tele. The horse trick is to go offender on the bot, get high speed, run like heck for 20 seconds and pop a horse if possible. Bot attacks horse, kills it and goes murder. No clue if that still works, I read that in some of the old threads.

He listed basically all the main ways we used to do it. Having a lock helps a ton with it's stuns + debuffs.
Another thing to do with pillars on like solo bots or whatever, is Bless/skin/whatever, kill pillar next to bot. Log out ASAP. Log back in, and 75% of the time the bot is dead. Just gotta watch out for random envies still running around.

I gather around 30-40 envys around me and wipe all the bots, which i find in Taklamakan. I already killed whole 8/8 bot pts like that. But well, that only works when you can tank that ammount of envys. For me it's usually no problem until parts of my equip break.

I love killing niya sniper bots with envy's. I am a glavier 75 and can tank 10 envy at a time. Make sure you take all of them in the light nuke of the bot, leave the rest to envy. Ohh plus after the bots are dead enjoy exp of half that of a niya hunter giant from each of the envy
