From what i've seen, the new hunter vs thief expansion has killed the job aspect of the game. Job activities used to provide a decent way of making money in the game but now it doesn't pay for anything and it's all about crafting and making job equipment that barely helps. As for target trading, the entry level to participate in it is job lvl 71, way too high. Nobody in there right mind is about to spend months of their own time getting to that job level, it's just not worth the time to grind for.

If joymax reads their forums, there's two things you guys need to do to really improve your job system.

-Make job equipment more significant in what it does. A player level 50 with job lvl 20 equipment should be able to stand a fighting chance against a player lvl 70 thief with no job equipment. Currently, having job levels, skills, and equipment means nothing in terms of strength or survivability in job mode, so why participate?

-Give us back our ability to make money in job mode. Make job equipment worth something to npc's. Currently, stones are worth 0 gold and any job equipment is worth 4000 gold if sold to npc's. While there is trade value in these items between players, it isn't bringing money into the game. I see as a problem because there are so many sources where money is lost like from buying pots and equipment from npc's, but there aren't enough sources of money generation.

Please either fix the current job system or bring back the old one!

Yeah, it would be easier for them to put back the old system with some improvements which aren't hard to do(too lazy right now to write about what they should improve).
Screw the job equipment, they could just remove it, it's too complicated and doesn't help much.

Are they still trying to Fix Jobs? I thought they gave up on that.. They did with the Game as a whole didn't they? Moving on to SRO 2 I thought.

Jobs died 2 weeks after the job update .

No point in gaining job levels , just not worth it .

There are people that already reached +70 in job levels to find out that target trading is just not worth the effort done and the consumed time .

I really really wonder what goes into the thought process of the individuals who decides how to improve the game. Who are these idiots that are allowed to make these "improvements" and don't stop to think about the effects?...

I stopped paying attention to any new game developments long time ago when I noticed while playing the game these "developments" don't have any effect on the players themselves....these changes just sit there almost unexplored and uncared for. Or if explored are quickly abandoned.

The reason why ? any exploration that takes more then 50 seconds to do players will cry and complain. WHY? because how many of them actualy play the game ? Silkroad players atleast most of them are complaining annoying kids as far as i can tell ... they are never happy about anything lol
