What do you think?

This update completely rendered all 11D weapons useless, and more important - all B grade Egy's. You might aswell make an A grade into 12D because all you'll get is +3 for a freakin' B grade.


Oh and btw, I think that they should make an item. That's 100+ that gives you an defense boost. If any of you have played Conquer Online and gotten above lvl 100 you know what I'm talking about.

It's an item made only for one purpose - to make it impossible for people to one hit anybody at their own lvl. I think it's time now that there are popping up 12D +12 weapons -.-

So what do you guys think, are there ANY pros with this update?

turks will rage because their wiz chars will suck -> joymax will delete the item, as they did with the ip limit.

i don't see it happening.

btw, if you don't want to get 1 hit by ppl, get full job gear with str 3. joymax will love that.

well, you were talking about an item they should add, and i assumed you wanted the cons of it, but i guess you wanted the pros of 12D then?

About the ip limit:

Afaik, Egypt and Turkey got an ip limit of 2 first, which got raised when ppl started raging about their "families all playing sro"

Well, seems like there will be regular D12 items quite soon (beta server for 120 cap). The first regular D12 tier is already as strong as the magic (D12 sos) items, the second tier is slightly weaker than rare (D12 som), the third tear is slightly stronger than rare but still weaker than legend items. After that 120 update the D12 sox items, except for legend items won't be that overpowered anymore. In fact they would be weaker than the regular cap equipment, which should be easier to get than these D12 sox stuff. Of course you would have to get lv.118 first to use these items, so that 12D sox items will still be usefull, as you can already start using them with lv.101 (their strength will be restricted though) and fully use them at lv.106. But when everyone is capped at lv.120, i don't think that Magic, Rare and Legend equipment will be that strong anymore. I expect especially Magic and Rare items to drop quite a lot in price after Lv.120 cap is introduced, as they can already be overpowered by the last normal equipment set. I am not actually sure, if it's better to transform all your set into D12, unless you can make it D12 sun. In that case you should definitely go for it, but Magic and even Rare set/weapon might not even be worth it with lv.120 cap.

Until i get into that level range (currently i am lv.88) it's probably lv.120 cap already. So i probably won't try to get Magic and Rare D12 items. Maybe just to make the leveling easier, but most definitely not as the final set/weapon. I am just going to wait and see, how things are going to develop. Maybe I can even use that development for my advantage and make some money with it.

i saw a som spear nuker do 60k damage on a warrior. gg jm
pretty sure the warrior was lvl 108. and the spear was +5

And about that 60k on a warrior. Pretty sure he was unbuffed an using HA, right? And yeah that's farked up... That's why the item i was talking about in the 1st post would help :)

Giving the level 100's a def boost? What a terrible idea.

It's hard enough for a 9x to kill a 101+ FF char with pimped out gear, why the hell should they be given an even bigger advantage over 9x's/everyone else?

I would disagree. Job items rock. Even without blues, the acc parts are pretty good bonuses as is.

Well, i'll admit that the accessories are usefull. but the rest.. meh.
I lvled up my job lvl to 20, so i could wear the lowest items. After that, the job quests are just ridiculous.

Wow are you guys really surprised that an update in Silkroad actually messed things up then helped them :P. SRO is the kinda game where "No Updates please"
