Have you tried a clean install of windows xp after doing a format.

I know this is a very long way of testing if its your windows but if your really desperate you can try this.

Actually, I think I got it working.
Instead of using my saved game this time.
I uninstalled the game, installed it again.
Then I logged in, and my character was there.
is that normal? or do you loose your character if you delete saved games, in setting folder?

(lucky I got a backup)

Edit: yes ive tried formats to.

No nothing happens if you delete your sro folder if you play from another computer and log in using your account it will be exactly the same aswell.

All of your data is hosted on their servers.

Set graphic to low, draw distances to 3.

Zoom in and look up towards the sky in F12 mode while stalling and having SRO_Client minimized to windows.

Greatly reduces the crashes
