Morning!

I´ve got a question about the 1h-passive "Blockade".
Are you able to block without equipped shield? I mean, can someone block if he isn´t wearing a shield, so 1h only? I ask this because someone told me you can block without shield because this passive "Blockade" makes you able to....

Thankies in advance!
Greetz, NeverNighTz.

As far as I know, you must have a 1H equipped or the passive will be "inactive".

Ty, but do you also need to equip shield that the passive works?

He means does the passive work without a shield, so can you block without a shield?

I don't know, I'm not playing a warrior.

Yeah, you can block without shield equipped, there is screenshot in guide somewhere, where warrior is wielding 1h sword only, without shield with 5 mangyangs attacking him, and you can see 2-3 blocks.

Yes, the 1H passive works without a shield.

Once I can actually log in, I'll give it a shot. I've never seen it happen, but then again, I rarely just use my 1h without the shield.

*Edit* Just got in, just tried it, and it works. Uploading pic in a bit here.

A shit ton. It will all be gone by the time I get to 100 though. Funny thing is, even though I'm a full warrior warlock, I need about as much sp from 90~100 as most chinese builds do.

It's a 1H passive so you would need a 1H equipped.

I think the reason we have this lovely fuckup with 1h, and not bicheon, is because with the chinese race, the block passive is associated with the shield whilst with the euro race, so that you can't benefit from it when you are either a cleric or warlock, they had to lock it to the 1h.

He doesn't want people pm'ing him in game? He doesn't want you to see what his guild was talking about (perhaps kiddy p0rn?). It's his screenshot, he can do what he wants to it? Maybe draw purple hearts all over it, who knows. I DO know one thing, he contributed to this thread way more than you did.

Yep, because there are no legits on Troy, it's a proven fact. You people make me laugh, please continue to stir up flame wars. :)

That's neat, I'm in the process making a 1hander, glad to know I can get blocks off in the event of a bad weapon switch, haha.

Oh really? Because you've been playing troy (of today, whatever that means) and were in a legit union, you are able to say whatever you want about people? Interesting logic. I've been playing Troy since I first installed Silkroad over 2 years ago... Continue to troll threads with useless posts zzzz. Oh, is your shift key broke? :banghead:

I tried the block dealio on my new character, it worked, woo.
