i will not post. this isnt a bug, and im glad those slave watchers are there. sure it makes it difficult for you to get out but i havent EVER EVER EVER out of 4 years of playing sro heard the words

if it was my way? slave watchers would spawn anyway, regardless of players spawning them.

we HAVE to do something about the bots because JM isnt.

remove the slave watchers = more bots = less legits of azteca = legit community dies once again.

Isn't a majority of them located in Hotan? No new legit player is gonna head straight to hotan...


I've never had any trouble avoiding them. I mean just follow the bots, let the bot lure them and run by...

There's a good 4 to 5 at the Don gates.

They're placed at every gate in Hotan and DW. They are also placed at choke points in DW and Hotan. They are also randomly placed in DW. Trying to level as a level 30 would be the most frustrating thing ever, because you can't really get out the gate. When you do there are slave watchers just randomly waiting for you.

Whoever the guy is has set up like 10 of these wizards spawning them nonstop. I don't know who would waste 10 cents every death, but hey it's not much to piss of the server.

the person who said "wow no bots out here" was Talon, i think Equal also saw it when he went to help me get some 35-50 dim holes that spawned at the buns..

legits do get effected, its called "OMG SLAVE WATCHER... ill go out the other gate"
or... "OMG SLAVE WATCHER.. ill wait for some1 to run out before me..."

it is the slave watchers thats the reason, low income will discourage them, and just look at them dieing!!!

Slave Watchers need to be removed *nuff said*.

gold selling companies spawn them to delevel their bots to keep them at a certain level. that way they can populate certain high drop areas and continue to make them money while destroying the game for everyone. you sir are a moron.

I play in Azteca im lvl 39 currently, i died 3 times from them, and DW east gate never has any ANY NEVER slave watchers, you sir are idiots for removing them, they are there to do good, i like them being there, without them more bots could go out there and grind, so i am in favor of them.

I enjoy them, I have the quest on my alt char and I login to kill the afk ong farmer's when I get bored.

It is silly to think that they actually pay $ for ress , all of those 'spawners' are level 10 which gives them an ability to ress themselves at the same place .

Oh and good luck Goseki avoiding or surviving againest 3-4 slave watchers unless you are +80 .

Oh yeah I forgot about that lowbie res. Silly or not though the scrolls are like 10 cents each. It isn't that much.

It's more of a griefing exploit than a bug (e.g., you can use Closier Guardians to grief players outside of Constantinople). I've had no problems dealing with Slave Watchers as a Rogue because of stealth, but waiting for them to go away is annoying. It is a great way to grief low level botters, but this also affects many legits too. On one hand, I want them gone so I can leave Hotan safely (same goes with the non-working Statue of Justices). On the other hand, I can't stand dealing with bots taking over my preferred grinding spots. Regardless, I found that Slave Watchers only marginally impact a fraction of the grinding spots I usually go to and do nothing to affect the high-levels' powerlevel/taxi services (Mujigis and Ujigis always have bots or powerlevels there, and Penons is often crowded as well.), so I'm leaning towards limiting their potential for Hotan/DW griefing.


This quote is interesting and makes sense to some extent. I've also seen a bunch of players at Ultra Blood Devils dying and getting resurrected over and over again (I wonder if this is somehow related to the Slave Watcher scenario). Still... proof is needed to support this claim or hypothesis.

it doesnt control bot, its the bot companies controling players.china is un grindable past hyeochenenhgns cause every bridge is covered with watchers. and sam is usually overwhelmed with them.
if it wasnt the case. the bots wouldnt be programed to stop directly in front of the watchers for them to kill them. since 500 bots running past would allow some to slip by, they walk to the point of the invisible character that spawned the watcher, and stop and stand there till they die. you would have to be brittish to not realize whats going on. i blaimed the avalon crew originally. but i was wrong.

It is not much when you use them normally without deleveling , but with delevel you die 5 times / minute ( 50 cents / minute ) , 30 dollars / hour , 720 dollars / day .
And you say that it is a bot company with 10 spawning slave watchers . ( 7200 dollars daily is alot on a game , lol )
All this and they can do it for free with the lowbie ress and when you use a scroll there is something like an animation of black ress ( without the buff of course ) .

Are you retarded? Are you implying that every spawner dies more than once a minute? More than once an hour?

How about thinking twice before replying? I was simply saying it still would be possible to use the scrolls considering on how many times they would die a day. No need to reply so negative. owait that's what I did as well.

Also a side note.. If you actually played on the server you will sometimes see them laying dead for hours before moving onto a new or the same location. Hinting the use of scrolls over the lowbie res.

they spawn 3 at a time, if someone is there to kill watchers or lure them into town the respawn each of them. so they could die several times in 10 minutes. i have stood there and watched them. they have the lvl 10 and under res.

I watched some and they don't die for hours whereas some dies within the moment they spawn the slave watcher as they go back into hide. That's because the slave watchers don't move at all being at a small choke point.

I've seen them dead at the ones going to the scorpions awhile back. If they were all level 10 they would just always get up nonstop, but these weren't. Too bad they're not playing with scorpions anymore and moved to every choke point moving out to the west of hotan.

I'm not saying it's a reasonable way to do things. I'm just saying it's plausible to use the scrolls.

if the bot glitches it wont spawn it again. i have also seen a lvl 10 character running to the scorp bridges checking on them to make sure they were still running. they went from bridge to bridge. he tryed to claim that he wasnt doing that, but his name indicated that he was a gold seller, and he was under lvl 10 respawning after checking the bridgs. he actually spoke to me, cause they were physically checking to make sure the bots were still operating.

All the spawners i saw were auto ressing themselves ( i even thought that it doesn't spawn them when you are died ) .
