Can you pk2 edit your own character? so you don't have to use that char gender change scroll from the item mall.

If so, how can you?

For example:
I have the monkey character but want to change it to the monk char ( the solid snake dude).

what game you play?

EDIT: http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=30876
this is the majour pk editing guide. try here
however, i dont think you can tweak your char to female from male
since thats something thats fixed on your char and never changes
during the gameplay.

Silkroad.... you know that monkey char who holds glaives and spears behind his back? And the monk guy who has that bandana that covers up his eyes like solid snake in his first game.

Cruor? Isn't he the one that made those awesome lightning and fire nukes? You think he could change the character skins?

Same idea as changing a wolf into something else. Extract characterdata.txt, find the desired *.bsr reference, then replace your character's bsr reference with it. If the file ends up smaller, add null bytes to the end. If the file ends up bigger, remove some of the references to high level euro mercs (they are near the end) and then add null bytes to reach the correct file size. Then you just find characterdata.txt within Media.pk2 and inject your modified version in over it.

Gender change is possible however you will still be using your gender's item models. You can swap the item's references too but that changes them for people who haven't gender-changed, so you still end up with freaks running around.

Yes, you will find yourself suddenly.. Endowed..

The male character models were of course not made to fit with female clothing models though so it looks really weird.
