In order to properly determine what character you will want and enjoy in the long run, you should consider what the end-game content of this game will be comprised of...
It seems to me as though the accumulation of "honor" and the rankings associated with it will be a determining driver of end-game gameplay.
With that in mind, what will end-game content be composed of, team-play or solo?
What will allow you to acquire honor points the fastest, 8v8 group fights or solo?
Will there be such thing as 8v8 or do you believe it will be a zerg fest (massive amounts of ppl spamming skills, 50 v 50?)
I'm not familiar enough with the newly(?) released end-game content to assess this myself, any high level input would be appreciated.
My point is, depending on what end-game goals will look like (climbing the ranks and acquiring honor?), it will most likely have a significant impact on what class you may want to end up with after all of this leveling (after all, leveling is only the means to get you to the highest level/strongest character/most effective means to acquire "popularity"/pvp "fame").
If group tactics will be most efficient at attaining end game goals, euro races would be favored. On the other hand, if soloing will be just as viable/balanced to attain "honor", Chinese classes may be favored...
Moreover, you'll want to consider what group compositions will be most favored/successful if that is what end-game will dictate... Most successful mmorpgamers will have a certain idea of this...
