Ok so i decided to see my union peeps kill each other and i somehow got killed (did not wear cape, was not murderer)

Heres what happened... in a cape battle

Union person1: she was purple and used ghost spear

Union person2: He was fighting her

Me: Some how got killed when union1 selected union2 and used ghost spear O_O? we tested this 3 times happened every time

did the purp one got murder status?

Its after the euro update. While in purple or murderer status, you can kill another player by using area of effect skills (even if your pk quota is maxed out by 15/15).

Same thing happened to a guildie the other day, PKed a plvling bot on ice, but in the process killed a random 5x bot because of his AOE attack.

yeah since he's already offender status, I think he can hit anyone in range with an AOE.

This wasnt the case before the update (You had to alt + click someone to actually hit them).

Well it was the same thing with capes, even with an AOE attack you could only hit your target. I think you're right, it was included in the Euro patch maybe?

can someone pls answer the question? so did the purple get murder status in the end? this is important, if no murder status then we've got the perfect bot killing tool.

I cant answer for kumori, but I've ended up murderer before by killing another player with aoe skills while being purple.

interesting... maybe i'll try to murder some ppl...

Yea he got murder status it also happens even if we are all white status(normal)

3 people involved:

- 1 & 2 has cape and is fighting

- 3 is standing near them

- 1 uses aoe and 3 dies

- 1 is murderer
