Today I finally decieded to check out the the official silkroad forums... and all i find is either noob spam or bot selling....

While searching however I also found this

no, and frankly this has been overdone.
bots will never get banned because, well lets face it, few people can finish this game, all the people who are lvl 80, full farmed thanx to botting bought a LOT of silk along the way, i assure you they would never have gotten past lvl 70...so in turn, keeping player bots in game means A LOT more money for Joymax, it would be finacial suicide if they did finally solve the bot issue...and goldbots, well, server packed 24/7 means all the player bots spend $7/month more to bot b/c they need get premium

i feel the real problem here is gold buying. bots wont ruin the game buying gold and causing inflation will. eventually npc gear will become ideal. buy some crappy npc gear add a blue or two with a stone you made yourself and +3 with pro elixirs you found and you have it made!
