Immunity... Bug?

Hi ^^
So I've been wondering WTH is wrong with the immunity? That 100% is just bullshi.t.
Let's look at the Fire Shield-Emperor skill (68lvl)
It has Status error effect reduce 78. And Frost Nova Storm (3lvl, 69lvl) has 158 freezing effect
So it should be 158-78 = 80 (that's what you should get with fire shield on)
Oh, and let's say acc (4parts) have 20% ice immunity -> 80*0.8*0.8*0.8*0.8= 33, and that can easily washed away with small pills

OK, now can anyone explain me why the hell it doesn't work that way? (now those numbers are counted as percents, right? 78%+20%+20% >100% = FULL IMMUNITY!

They count it as a %.

So Fireshield reduces by 78%....a 20% accessory makes it 98%....another accessory with 5% or more would take it over 100% and you'd be instantly immune.

you can. If you have 80% on your acc's (all 100%) then lvl 1 fire shield will do the trick

Oh really? i thought it can only prevent 3 kinds of state.... look at the tooltip.

you can b immune so long as the total of your fire shield's and your accessorys' resistances is 100% of more. since u have 4 accessories u can have up to 80% resistance with them alone allowing even a very low fire shield to make up the difference

i had a friend on athens who was lv41 and had total ice immunity. all this accessories were fully pimped and his fire at lv41

Euro Holy Word / Spell works differently on the other hand... They have the proper status negation reductions...

Let's say to be immune to lvl 79 burn status with effect 168+ burn, you'll need to have a buff + accessory immunity % of the effect to be immune.

Note tho, cleric spell Holy Spell (Party Buff) and Maxxed Holy Word can immune you from 8Lvl Weaking/Curse, etc status with 100% Probabilty...

Even if it were the way you first stated, you did the math wrong. It's not 80% of 80, (which would actually leave you with 16 left over..not 33) it would be 80% of 158 (80% comes from your accessories) then the fire shield reduction, which would make you immune.

Either way, fire shield is counted as a % at the moment.
