Long range type mobs like the gun powders and the earth ghosts have missed on me (hit for no dmg, while I was attacking another mob).
Most mmorpgs I've played have misses simply because you can dodge that 10 foot long sword that's swung slowly at you. Frankly, I think there should be dodging in the game but with actual "Miss" showing. In other games the magical attacks cannot be dodged and the physical attacks can, and archers and long range physical attacks are easier to dodge, but tankers actually have lower dodge because of their shields.
Dodge would actually make the game better. Because anything to add to survival would be a plus...Of course something has to be done about the whole potion system in the first place. It's really not PvP when you only win with 1 strategy and getting lucky with crits. Euro PvP is better, but again...1 hitting both ways isn't that much fun.

If they implement Miss they has to implement also Dexterity which modify your attack speed and evasion like other games. But if u add it, your balance is like 70%:40% and cant even kill your own lvl mob Oo
Your attack speed is double while your dmg is divided by 5 or 6

If they actually did what should have been done and had attack rating change the speed of attack, and perry change the dodge rates, it would work out better. First, you wouldn't get 1 shot all the time cuz people will be hitting less on you because of the lower chance to hit high (unless they add something that still increases that chance), and second, you could get a chance to dodge an attack. But again, there should be something that governs what attacks miss and what do not. It would be stupid for an aoe nuke to miss someone within range, or stabs to miss someone on the gorund, or any attack to miss someone that has been stunned.
Oh yeah...if you notice there are some euro attacks that basically have the miss function in them. Charged winds and Dare Devil have a "Maximum number of hits X" property....which is why charged winds never hits the full 6 times.
