I cant remember where I read it, but I read that Silkroad would feature Arabic characters who called on the powers of Genies and "Allah" (God) for their skills. What are your guys thoughts on this new race (if it is confirmed)? Any predictions? Too early to tell?

Your thoughts please.

That is what you were talking about I imagine. Anyways, from what I know that is the only info about the race so far. So I think it's too early to guess.

IMO it's too early to discuss about this race, but i really hope, oh God, pls dont let that happen, i really hope that those arabs wont look so gay like euro race looks now :(

Claw and Chakram seems like it could be cool, what about a ranged one though ;x.

never liked the euro, i hate any game that has to do anything with europe. like knights, 2 handed swords and shit like that :P

Chakram is the ranged one :)

+1 That's the "bow" of Islam I think. Looks like (imo) chakram will have huge potential when combined with a genie who helps you attack....but we'll see. I think it's gonna be a great update.

as long as the Islamic cities [Baghdad, Hotan, Samarkand] and the Islamic characters don't misrepresent the Muslims, then you have nothing to worry about :)

from the looks of things i think joymax does refer to them as civilizations, but because of popular use among players the common term has become: race

atm i think sro is in between Utopia, and Distopia. The community is aight, but at the same time there are so many problems within the community that joymax is blamed for.

I'm not really sure about this. I like the idea but I like the way Silkroad is. But yeah this will cause racial problem's and I think Chinese and European is exellent.

lol@ people saying islam shouldn't be added. [to little to late] We already have two Islamic Cities [Hotan, and Samarkand] I give Joymax 3 - 5 months before they decide to spring Baghdad along with the Islamic Civilization on the Koreans. So expect Islam late early-mid 08 [in Korea], and late 08 [in Isro]
