Some egyptian guy said he could copy items by doing this:
Go outside hotan, open a stall, register it to the network (theres a place you can do this outside of town). We tried with a lvl 16 ring he gave me. Well when i put the ring in the stall, it didn't show up for me, but it did for him. After he bought it for 1 gold, it was still in my inventory. I noticed I couldn't move this ring to my pet, or equip it w/e. Ofcourse that was a fake ring, i'm not dumb.

So im like hell yes this shit works. Now he wanted to try my sun sword. I said i would try with my sun sword if you can try with your sos spear first. Well he said no, but after a while he accepted the deal, and exchanged me the spear. The first thing i did was relog to see if the ring we tried earlier disappeared, and yes it did. I said k thx bye and scammed the scammer.

Big question-> Should I give it back?
I recorded everything I can put it together to a vid if anyone want to.

I don't mind giving it back, but does this person deserve a second chance?

Don't get any bad thoughts about me, i'm not a scammer and i will most likely give it back

I shouldn't.. Let him be sad and pissed for once, they always scam. And if they succeed they won't feel sorry either..

thats alot of sp, and how do you people always have such clean inventories
anyways its funny you got him back, let him suffer his sins, he'll lvl beyond the need for that spear in a week or two only thing is he won't have the gold to get another sox weapon, so what he'll have be like us europeans getting npc gear and plusing it

Nice :D
I wouldn't give it back. He probably scammed the spear from someone else. Give it to someone in your guild.

Don't give it back. It's probably some little 12 year old dumbass who WON'T learn his lesson if you give it back. He will just keep trying to scam but next time he will be smarter about it. Let him be smarter about it without his weapon though.

This really makes no sense tho. Why would some guy who full well knows it’s a scam, actually trade with you. He must have really thought you would give him your sword. Scammers are heartless. Lesson = rondo.

Exactly what I was going to say.

He scammed that spear from someone else. He's a lying piece of shit that doesn't deserve anything. He would have laughed in your face and called you a noob retard if he had succeeded in scamming you. Not only should you not give it back, you should make his life hell by telling him you'll give it back at 3:00 AM his time and he can log in and wait for you. You're only half-done with this asswipe.

If you give him back his spear, you are part of the problem. Not part of the solution.

I'd feel bad about it, even though he was a scammer.
I would give it back after inspection

Was in a similar situation once, but I decided to give the 8d sosun sword back. I didnt scammed the person though, it just ended in my hands some other way, but I gave it back (and it felt good cause I got it off my conscience). So meh, we play this game for fun, even though what the scammer tried to do was wrong, what you did wasnt right either (but no one would judge you negatively for keeping it, nevertheless you still obtained the item through trickery right?). Its totally your choice, and either way could be justified I guess. Just my 2 cents.

That happend to me once, I scammed a lvl 52+5 SoS spear from a scammer. I felt so sorry for the guy, he was so pathetic, so I gave it back, next thing he said was "kakaka noob i i fak your mothr", exact words, think I got a ss somewhere.
