I wouldn't say that without supporting evidence, and I'm to lazy to calculate that right now since it's late.
But indeed accessory is truly important and far to underrated, be sure to keep 'em up :).

Wear a full npc set without accessories, have someone hit you. Wear a full npc accessory set, have someone hit you. Supporting evidence.

It's a well known fact that accessories are the most important pieces of the set, since they absorb dmg by %'s which are really important, any experienced player is aware of this, a good set its not only made by good armory pieces, the more pimped your accessories the more strong you will be.

They are very important because they absorb a large majority of damage put on you.

You probably just don't notice it. But wear all 4 accessories with a much lower %, like a 1D set instead of 9D set, and you will notice the difference in damage that you take.

And a garment / robe chest is going to stop an arrow? Pfft.
If it's the biggest Diamond, at least you could try using it as a shield ;P, Diamonds are the hardest substance currently known.. gl having any arrow go through it.

Diamonds may be the hardest known substance, but they'll still break, they're very brittle. /random fact.

Sometimes it's even more severe. The guy in the video has pretty crappy accessories to begin with, if you have really nice accessories, then take them off, the difference in damage will be phenominal.

is it advisable to switch your accessories to a new npc set with no blues and just 0.1 or 0.2% increase ? knowing that your old accessories were full blues.

Depends on your level and stuff, with a 0.1 or 0.2% increase, it's better to keep your old accessories which have blues. If your old accessories don't have blues (useful ones), then you should switch. If old accessories are fully blued, and new one's only have 1% more, then I'd keep the old ones. If the new ones have over 1.5% though, then it'd debatable. Just find what works for you best. For example, if you're a nuker, you might not need the extra defence for grinding, and would rather keep your int increasers on your old accessories, hence, you can keep your old accessories.

Know that jewels give "absorption rate", not mag or phys def.

Thats why they are called "GAMES" not "REAL LIFE"

to topic,
Yeah Acc are very important the better the best , and you dont need any formula to figure that out.

Take yours off and go grind and then see what happens. :)

lol, in capture the flag you always see who has the low level jewels :P
if you hit a bower of your level for lets say 15k with a strongbow, he probs has some degree 1-3 jewels or so xD
so yes, they are (very) important ^^

I have just enough gold to buy one sun part.
What is the better choice: buy a sun ring or any sun armor part?

Thanks :)

Was something along the lines of sun 68 neck +9. God knows what he's going to make this cap.

yeah, earrings stopping arrows going through your skin is unrealistic, but last saturday, you should have seen it, I waved my hands in the air and a giant meteor came crashing down on my neighbors house, it was epic.
