Is there some type of new freaking exploit out? On athens some bot named StorageChek keeps msging people (even when your nowhere near it) and says "All people on this server is noob, im Aragolas_Int" There must be some security exploit or something for it to be able to get our ids to pm

so someone added your name to a spam list he types what he wants it to say and boom the program sends you a pm with what he said.. not that hard at all to make.

Yep same on our server. It's a program they created sending global pms and global note messages to the whole server.

Something like this was done by 0x33 a year or more ago now. It was creepy at the time, but then everyone realised it was a joke. I think you should ignore it =p.

They are really annoying, its not enough that they spam city chat. Now they have to pm you. morons

1. Get playernames from rev6
2. Make a simple packet based spammer that loads the names from a text file
3. Spam
4. Laugh at peeps for thinking its some kind of exploit.

5. Be added to the whisper block list and become another forgotten spammer.

Too bad the spammers are spamming your message box, and not whispering you.
