what do you want to know?
farm and get full skills in both..
Mana cycle and mana orbit are only mp healing skills you'll need. Then you get trambours and dances.. attack skills if you're going to be attacking.. get the passives + noise and march. don't get the skills that causes confusion.
Cleric .. full skills minus skills trial/justice cross.

Questionable on robe / protector.
i would probably end up going protector cause cleric passives are awesome.

if you're looking for low sp route.
mana cycle/guard tramb/movingmarch/magic dance
healing cycle/division/recov division/buffs/holy word/bless

Dance of Mana: Not worth the SP to me. With a good bard you won't need it anyway (and you'll have at least 2 in order to be able to cast it anyway), and I haven't encountered a party in which I would prefer this over the other 2 dances.

Cleric:
Healing: I have enough healing spells; not going to bother with targeted ones.
Reverse: I have enough res spells; I prefer the one that gives buff in return for damage decrease.
Innocent: I have holy word/spell.
Healing Division: See Healing.
Healing cycle: I deleveled this when I got healing orbit. Not worth the SP to me to keep it.
Recovery: See Healing.
Holy word: I deleved this when I got holy spell. Not worth the SP to me to keep it.
Heaven flash: Heaven Glare is better, and doesn't require this skill.
Obviously I don't have the spells that depend on all these spells either (the higher level versions).

Bards and clerics don't have a lot of really useless skills. They just have so many skills doing the exact same thing that it's not worth the SP getting/keeping them all.


As for builds, I go with full INT to maximize my damage output.

Seriously. Uehara and Phulshof have it together. With the exception of 15 str on my cleric, I've followed the cleric guide to 64, then switched over to bard first - cleric will eventually be my sub.

Have 64/100 phys/mag balance with my stuff on. At cap it'll be close to that naked so I hope to have 110% mag.
