Repairable, yes.
Able to be traded, no. Well, the weapons are not able to be traded, but with the protector pieces, using a gender change scroll on them makes them able to be traded.

A good business tactic lol. Make everyone believe they will get sosuns so they spend like $100 on silk and then the next month when the sosun rate get's dropped a bunch more people buy that much hoping to get some sox and they end up with nothing good lol.
