At least with the current system to you know what the outcome can be
anything from here "0% 22% 41% 61% 80% and 100%" 6 fixed % rather then
100 random whites, its already somewhat difficult to get above 61% just from 6 diff. outcomes let alone 100

U miss my point all I can say, I think crit has 5 diff. crit outcomes (1, 5, 9 ect.) so would u rather have 14 (depending on weapon) diff outcomes when trying to fix crit? maybe use 500 stones to get crit 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and fail 100x ?

lol you fail in probability

lets say you want at least 60%

with the current system you can have like 2 chances out of 5 (61% and 80%), which is basicly equals to 40%.

but if it would be 100 different possibilities (from 1 to 100), then you have 40% chance (from 60 to 100%).

get my point? it wouldnt be harder to achieve the same stat because there is more possible values, because it also means there is more 'good' possible values, not only more 'bad'.

And it would make items more unique. Kinda sucks to have weapons attack power always at 80% on the very good one, then drop to 61% on the good ones and so on... why not have more 90%?

you have to understand that this more then just % of success but what the outcomes of getting higher then 60% are...on the current system u said the is a 40% chance of getting 80% or 100% but there are only TWO possible outcome either if u succeed u get 80% or 100%...now on a random system of 1-100 there is also a 40% chance of getting higher then 60% however there "39" possible outcomes if you succeed. so if you succeed you can get a 61% 62% 63% 71% ect. up to 39 possible outcomes so it would extremely difficult to get any % higher then 80...

and how ending up with 1% is worse than 0% ? Right now you get 0% or fail most of the time. come on getting 1 to 100 would make weapons more random and uniques, and even if it would be really rare we could get 90%+
