hmm i have a theory and i believe its right

i believe joymax isnt banning accounts so much as ip addresses and when they ban a botters ip address he just changes it and then gets banned again the ip is still banned and when someone else tries to use that ip it bans all accounts linked to i.

just something that happens in another game i play

please dont flame if you dont think my idea is right state your reason(s) why it is or isnt right.

1. They ban by account, not IP.
2. an IP is like a fingerprint, you will never have the same IP as someone else. If it worked like that, someone could be looking at childporn at one place then a 70 year old grandmother gets arrested for it because they got handed the same IP as some pedo.

It's called dynamic ip.

Dynamic IP just means that it changes when the connection is reset. Your ISP still assigns to a fresh IP that has never been used; or IF it has been used, the last time it was, was long long ago. My current IP will NOT be someone elses tomorrow, it doesn't happen.

Sorry it does .... change your ip and try to download from rapidshare .... on some ip limit already reached. And you can even get back the same ip that you had if changing ip a lot in a short time. Can be different setup at different isp-s.

u guys are talking abt 2 diff ips.... 1) dynamic ip 2) ip address as in finger print(which i duno wat's it called)

every single user has their own ip address and this ip is totally diff with what u're refering to as the dynamic ip...2 diff things...

You are wrong

you think about mac address as fingerprint there, but that is not sent outside
the local network.
By the way mac address can be changed easy, windows registry overrides hardware settings

1. Isp uses static ip like most cable service providers.
2. Isp uses dynamic ip like dialup or dsl service over phone line.
3. Every isp decided what it uses for their services.
