+1 to that. Why accuse me of botting when I don't. If I want to chargeback my money that I spent, let me. I bet half the people on here were the ones complaining about "WHA I AM NOT BUYING DEVILS SPIRIT EVERY MONTH" and whatnot, I used to spend a lot of money on this game, and I realised it was a stupid thing to do. I'm not proud of what I done and I don't believe I should continue to fund Joymax for their amazing bot bans, or lack of bot bans, also their events...

& why would anyone want a chargebacked account? ;x I don't believe in giving an account away to randoms. I spent long time making the character to just give it away. At least I went out with some sort of self-dignity by getting myself banned.

@StacE are you suggesting I bought a character off eBay :? I don't even have an ebay account.

I don't find that self-dignity getting yourself banned but nvm...

Better than giving my account away to someone undeserving. Other than that, I've already chargebacked, nothing anyone says will stop it - not that I want it to. I've moved on. Ciao Silkroad.

you disagree people should be allowed to buy eBay characters because it is "against Joymax TOS". So therefor according to that you abide by those TOS which you signed up to. Yet you want to break Joymax TOS and whatever international/domestic laws of theft... and still call yourself a legit and act like nothing you have just done was illegal or wrong.

You just STOLE $500. Thats why your account was banned.

Why is purposeful stealing through charge backs not banned by SRF? In all seriousness.

They ban the account, therefore I am unable to use it, the silk means nothing and I have my money back. It is hardly stealing. Though, if that is enough to get me banned from SRF, then be my guest and ban me.

Besides, it's done now. Unless I feel like Paying Joymax back $500 (Which I'm not), I'll remain banned from their game. Fine by me. Not to mention, Joymax claim that even though I bought the Silk it still remains property of them, no matter how much I spend. So I took nothing from them to begin with.

They are banning you because you didn't pay for the silk you were given...

How is that NOT stealing?

Just because i stole a car, then the owner saw it 2 streets down and took it back, doesn't mean i didn't steal the car in the first place.

Actually... I paid for it, then I took my money back :) Then they banned me, so I'm unable to use the silk on the character which THEY owned in the first place.

It would be more like, letting someone use your car, they buy new seatcovers for it, you no longer want the seatcovers, so instead you just give them back their $30 and take the car back.

Sigh.

The reason Joymax banned you was because you stole from them. It wasn't like a refund where you give the item back and you get your money... You STOLE your money back, so joymax was forced to ban you.

No matter how much you dislike it, that is how it went down. Joymax are just lucky they can ban people who steal their money back.

It's plain and simple... mods ought to ban for this kind of crap.

btw, your little car seat sh*t made 0 sense.

Say as you please, they don't need their item back... it's virtual, it isn't like buying something off Ebay then charging back, I would never do that. I no longer want to continue paying Joymax for their crap game so I took back my money, they banned my character (which I was well aware they were going to do, and I intended on it being banned) and all is sweet. If they really cared, they would put up a fight it came to chargebacking, but they don't!

Last time I checked, I have neither intention to keep nor sell what I chargebacked.

This thread can be locked, I've already chargebacked, and have no intention on paying them back.

In the criminal law, theft (also known as stealing or filching) is the illegal taking of another person's property without that person's freely-given consent.

the act of taking something from someone unlawfully

Shut the fúck up stace, what's done is done and nothing is going to change that.
If Joymax really cared about their virtual currency (which they have an unlimited amount of) they could have disputed his dispute. Instead they just banned his account and he got his money back.

I'll be doing the same thing when I quit, assuming I spend money on silk within the allowed chargeback time. They don't deserve shit from anyone the way they run their company, the only reason I stay is because the actual game is good. Though.. I just got a 2 week WoW trial for free with my new 4870 video card, maybe I'll turn to the darkside also Snoopy ;-)

You're clearly an idiot. Nothing you tried to argue puts Snoopy in the clear. The amount of idiots like Snoopy that chargeback are the reason why Joymax can't afford to dispute. Banning the account is easier for them. That does not mean he didn't just steal $500. Just **** off to WoW idiot.
