It says 12th degrees, it doesn't say cap 120 lol. It happens in a lot of game when the level of the last degree of equipment is a lot lower than the max level cap and monsters level

Would it really be so bad that the gear stops at 120?
from the very start of the game, it was said that there will be 12 degrees of equips and the final lvl cap strongly implied to be 150.
as someone else said in a thread before, it would encourage better parting.
and as there has been shown else wear, just because equips end at 120, doesn't mean there won't be special equips, like that Roc set, that probably give additional stats

120- end of equips
140- end of skills
141+- end of additional stat points per level (dunno about this one)

I think 120 is max. as well, cause the old iSRO bot config ever included 12th degree items in config. lmao.

wow, someone must have known a lot about bots and its configs here. Let's share us its new config then, bring some SS if possible?

Again, it's not because 12D items is the last degree doesn't necessary mean that the cap is 120.

Rev6.com were just looking through the .pk2 files and found this information. I just wanted to state it as I think that 104k sps is a RIDICULOUS amount. :P


Here's something though that I've noticed and that is that the pk2 files found in older clients were not always 100% accurate because of updates and etc...

Just take a look at old forum topics about things that are now out but back then were just speculation, and you'll notice things like names and level requirements and other things were different then than now. Get what I'm saying?

I could care less what the final cap is
Lets face it
We will not see this in years.

Lets worry about 11th degree & a possible 110 cap raise first, ok?

That aside, nothing beats the old 60 cap days
No alchemy that improved stats, no sosun pieces that made difference between "good" (and that means gearwise, cause some still tend to be retarded with a full sosun set) and bad players.

I also believe the final cap will be 120, but I cannot completely prove that I'm right. Just based off speculations here..

-Skills are finished to 120.(They weren't even finished until euro chars came out. Yeah.. long time to create upgraded skills for the same book.)
-As mentioned gender change is called "Final"
-12 degrees and going at the same rate of 100cap, 10 levels=degree/cap. 120 Ends up being the 12th.
-The zerk titles go up every 5 levels and have names up til 120.
-Exp requirement+sp = outrageous.
-The game is already 5 years old.

I know someone will say "npc, pets and exp tables is finished to 140" Yeah you know they were finished when they created the game, right? Also pretty much anyone can create it with excel if you just put in an equation. Yeah 150cap was the planned idea, but nothing goes according to plan.

Either way I doubt anyone here would even play for 120cap itself. I dunno about you, but I don't intend on grinding for a bil exp and 30ksp for a skill. Plus new games will be coming out. I'll be playing Huxley when ever ijji releases it, then trying out Aion, Blade and Soul, and Starcraft 2.

Aion is tight. Its really graphic intensive though. Minimum requirement is a 6600 I think.

It makes financial sense to keep adding new caps. If any of the previous caps were the last and final cap... SRO would surely be dead by now. It is dead already compared to how it was 2006-2008.

Joymax has nothing good to offer us with this poorly managed and ruined game. All they can do is regurgitate the same old skills with slightly new twist and call it a cap increase.

That ridiculous sp requirments (and exp as well) is what ruins this game with bots of all sorts.

Was playing it on max on everything. Including resolution and most mmo games on max just comes out looking like shit on a 24" screen(Or at least to me). I liked it, but I didn't really get too much into it since I do like to play it later in the year without knowing too much.
