I believe NCSoft also said they would fight botters... but then it was later proven it was the NCSoft GMs themselves who provided the bot...
Yeah.. whatever about no bots in Aion. Will only have to wait and see if they destroy their own game again.
Also was disappointed to find out Aion uses the dated CryTek engine, the very first one, not the latest.
Compared to the fabled Lineage 3 to be on UT3 engine, but remember NCsoft screwed that up so bad they cannot continue development on that project due to Korean Government becoming involved.
But in the end Aion is just another MMO among the many others. Does it really matter which you you play right now? Just pick one, doesn't matter. They are all based on how much time you spend in game, which usually means you are not doing something else more productive. I'll admit I had fun playing MMOs, but also admit I could have been doing something better.
