Is the cap getting raised to 120?!

1. Go to the official site.
2. Go to "Preview Update"
3. Press "Job Items"
4. Scroll down to "Type".
5. Highest quality - Rare - Common Class - Class Level Requirement 120

What the fck is this?!

It's CLASS Level Requirement not player lvl. That should mean the job lvls go up to 120.

well scroll down a little and look for the thief vs hunter uptade in Ksro , it is detailed of what the uptade has . even if they add 1 or 2 new things in Isro , it is still worth a look .

Because kSRO's next update gets 120 cap.

Hunters will escort NPC traders. Thieves can do their own trade runs aka "smuggling". Hunters can therefore "rob" thieves and thieves can rod the NPC traders. On kSRO, there are pseudo-titles for pvp rankings alongside the actual job title.

Wow...this sorta sucks...I like the idea of either robbing a real person or protecting them or banding with a bunch of real people as we trade...This update is sooo anti community...The very thing that is killing this game...

I was told in ksro server you cant choose hunter if the hunter ratio is more than 52%. Too keep the server balance even. Is this correct?

Yup. When you proceed to select your character, you have to choose a job. Thing is when so many people choose one job you are forced to choose the other lesser percentage job in order to remain balance on the server. That way there won't be too many people acting a certain job.

Its ok with this update, i'd like to see how Joymax trying to get players back with this updates marathon.
About this update:
Yes, there are many new things to explore and its so cool, but Silkraod is a game based to triangular conflict, wich is Ttrader/Hunted and Thief conflict. I dont like how this update going to change this..
This triangular conflict is from 70-80 cap and only change was a job alias, that keep sro a real sro. But now, everything gonna-be changed, no more enjoyable play line.

Sorry for my poor english language, but i wanted to tell my own opinion about this new update. :palm:

This is probably the most lovely thing I've heard!:
Quote:
You can use the 'Safe Mode' to protect yourself from characters whose level is greater than your own by 5 or more

This means that we might actually be able to get a more fair trading system, where you don't have to be 100-110 to actually enjoy that part of the game :sohappy:

Black Devil Suit

When I read the title, Rise of the Thief-Hunter, I read it as being a thief who pretends to be a hunter. Protect the caravan for a while, then switch to thief and rob them. That was done a lot back in the 60 and 70 cap.

Or maybe a hunter who protects thieves instead of protecting traders? :-D

Not everyone would do a safe mode trade , it is like a 1* trade , some risk for higher profit .

They could have done this shit on the old system too but they had to fck it up. -.- I wrote somewhere what they could do to improve it a lot, but i guess they had a different vision. :(

Yeah, i can already see the hunters raging due to the noobness of the bot-trader who cannot act right in different situations. :)
But we'll see.

Well if you ask me, they're gonna make it like when your dismounted from your camel as we have now. In other words, a horse with trace. (Atleast that's what I think)

And what kind of job skills are we talking about?

There isn't anything too special. Most of them are passives like increased transport movement speed and increased capacity. I think the only "active" skill is the transport summon. And there are multiple books for some of these skills.

I meant like a tiger which you can summon and if it dies you can ressurect it with grass of life, not a job transport :P

They should have implemented the donkeys a long time ago. They have been in the pk2 files for ages.

And we're not getting any new attack pets if u meant that, apan.

Gaah, sometimes it's hard to explain ^^

If I've understood things right, we get a donkey, which can be reused? (Like a wolf, right?) So what I'm asking is this, are we going to get mounts that can be bought once and reused? Like in for an example WoW?

At least it would give hunters and thieves something to do when there are no real traders online. The NPC traders wouldn't be as skilled as real traders, so that might be frustrating for a hunter, but I'm sure there are noob real traders who would be the same way.

I guess the alternative is for real hunters and thieves to just PVP each other? Might as well do that with a cape, or whatever the equivalent is now... I think that part changed some too.
