My best moment would actually be today (Monition saw what was goin' down, for part of it)

I notice a pile of loot on the road ( 2 different piles), so I put on my hunter suit and hide waiting for a theif to fall into the trap. I wait for a couple of minutes, and 3 theives come up and spawn a transport (2 of them stealing loot, one standing by), all lvl 20-30 (which is awsome for me)

I then pop out, do a strong spirit bow attack to get their attention, then they got off their camels and charged me. Taking them out one by one, then owning their transports :) I gained like 2% hunter EXP just off that. But noooo they aren't done, they ask their guildmates to come help them out.. I'm ready for that too! So 3 more theives pop up.. and they are more my level.. so i'm like crap, this'll be hard..

Just like suicidegrl's story, I look'ed at my bezerker gauge, seeing it was filled. So I press tab, bezerker mode activated, do a strong spirit bow attack and do 1.5 k dmg then 2-arrow combo, and one goes down. Second one I freeze another one of them with frost nova wind, and he is frozen good. So while the other one is frozen, and I'm taking serious dmg from the other one (potting to death here) I do a quick anti devil bow wave attack, then do a bezerker arrow, theif number two goes DOWN! I look at my gauge, one bar left, hopefully enough time to take out the other one.. So I do a strong spirit bow, crits and theif number 3 goes down.

So there, lies 6 dead theives.. all owned =D. It was a close call, I kept on potting like crazy ending up with like 100 health sometimes.

well, i recently lvled too 30, and then followed up with a couple of successful trade runs with my new bactrian camel. nice larger loads= more xp and money-you gotta love it !

unfortunately i screwed up my SP a teency bit-lvled my pacheon to 30 instead of my fire, leaving not enough SP to get the nuke after i lvled the fire to 30. gotta grind a bit now, i was annoyed

i cant say ive had any really good thief kills...ive killed a few player thieves that were of a lower lvl (low 20's) but in fairness i took them by suprise and they didnt get a shot off. i rezzed them straight after coz i felt bad. i need a high 20 thief to take out before ill be impressed with myself

Formed a Thief Gang that consisted of 7 thieves... We rampaged from Jangan to Donwhang annihilating every hunter we saw, and traders without camels too. How it started? I "always" wear my thief suit, even when doing quests. So random people come from behind and start attacking me. I usually die, cause of low health due to PvE, sometimes I manage to win. I got pissed and said to myself "sick of taking sh*t from hunters that attack me for no reason" So I went off and killed a few (died a big too) then found two thieves, then other two joined us, then we got there one by one, so yeah... We ganged every hunter around us, until we got to Donwhang. We went inside then came out again, and like 4-5 high level hunters were waiting for us outside... Yes we got hammered. Good while it lasted. Bloody nukes -_-

Hmm lastest achievement was helping two traders (1died and the other one running in circles from aggro mobs) I killed the mobs following the other trader then res the other one. All this while Ureuchi was just 2 screens away from us, luckily it was killed after I had ress'ed the trader. And from doing this I got a Lvl38 phython helmet +1int/str and a elixir shield :)

Here's one of those traders and whats left of the black robber elites/spawns of ureuchi  (wanted to try and kill some of them... but I dont want to go back to 41 :P )
Image

Unfortunately I cant revive one of their guildmates :( (the first person that invited me in a party during my 1x days  ) Lazyking since my ress can only work on those lv33 and below :x ... but im working on that.

I love how the game helpfully shows Elites as green, even when they will completely and utterly own you.

Yeah... im wondering if elites are like giants but stronger. (You know like those strong black archers, maybe theyre like Strong Black Robber Archer Giant) any Idea since I havent tried taking on yet.

I think the last time I helped kill an Elite, it had a heck of a lot of HP and was hitting slightly harder than a regular Giant. They're also slightly bigger, if I recall correctly.

i had the good fortune of grinding in the den area last nite right after Ureuchi was killed, and i happened to come across the spot where he died. there were at least 15 elites around there, giants as well, just wandering around aimlessly. i gained about 5% exp mopping them up.

Elites have about 2x the HP of a champion version of a mob, and (and this is the tough part) hit at least 2x as hard. a normal black robber champion hits me for an average of 200-300 each time. these elites were hitting me for 500-600, and criting me for over 1k. the payoff was that i was getting over 2.5k exp for each with a 5-lvl mastery difference. it was worth it by far. i just had to be careful that i isolated them and only took 1 or 2 at a time.

so yeah, right as the xian server came back up I looked at the item mall quickly and then thought to myself 'holy shit, 3 star trade run!!!!'

and so I did

just as I was about to leave Donwhang I ran into my GL, viper88, who said that he'd hunt for me, so off we left, it was laggy as all hell to start with and about halfway to the eastern ferry the server went down again.

so yeah about an hour later when xian came back up I jumped straight on and off I trekked again, except this time without a hunter, soon 3 thieves spawned and I jumped off to kill them, in the next 10 seconds about 10 chakji decided that it would be fun to rape my horse. so they did. I took out a thief and then went at the chakjis, potting for my life, after I killed about 4 chkji I turned on the thief with an annoying ice imbune smashed it too the ground and then 3 more thieves spawned and another 3 or so chakji had come along for some fun, I went from chakji to thief for about 5 minutes until all the thieves were dead and only 1 chakji remained.

I then ran ahead a bit more and some more thieves spawned, keep in mind that I'm at a distance where I can almost see the ferry crossing and coming from the south, so more mass chakji + thief killing occured, this time they took out my horse so took the opportunity to clear a short distance of chakji out of the way, I spawned my next horse, picked up my goods and went for it, yet again 3 more thieves spawned and just thought screw this, jumped off my horse, used grass walk and ran for the ferry, I got there just as I reached the 100m limit and ported over to the other side. my horse was now at about 1/2 health.

as I was running up the hill 3 thieves spawned, I hadn't noticed them though until my horse was at 1/4 health, I ran back to my horse and started taking out the thieves when some more spawned I pilled like mad at my horse to try and keep it alive, a nice lvl21 guy called SWORDMASTER helped me out here, we took out the thieves but they took out my horse, great 1 horse left and about horse 8 pills left. I asked SWORDMASTER to help me out to get to Jangan, it took a bit of begging and a promise of 25k before he said yes.

so off we set up the rest of the slope, took out another load of npc thieves before reaching the top of the hill, where I noticed about 3 high levelled thieves attacking another caravan of about 3 camels and several hunters, I thought 'shitshitshit' and ran left, SM was just saying gogogogo and that I did. I managed to sneak past the thieves even though I ran about 10m away from them before I realised what was happening.

I went for the straight towards the 2nd from the top bridge route, cutting across several roads before hopefully reaching safety, along the way we must have killed another 30 - 50 npc thieves, SM picked up a blue lvl21 sword from one of them, and I also managed to dodge another 2 player thieves - I couldn't believe my luck!

as we got to the bridge my horse was at about 1/3 health and I had no pills left for it, I also noticed 2 more player thieves doing something on the side of the road about halfway to jangan from the bridge, I didn't hang around to find out what and I veered to the left and out of their sight. I think some more thieves spawned at around this time, but I didn't want to turn around and head right at the player thieves and so I just ran into Jangan, my horse got there with a pathetic amount of health, but when the thieves vanished at the gate it felt like a massive burden had been lifted.

SWORDMASTER ran in soon after and I gave him 30k for being such a help. I then walked up to the trader npc and made myself a tidy 100k :D

I then bought myself a 3rd degree lucky powder and brought my lvl21shield to a +3 :D :D :D, it has better stats then every normal lvl24 shield that I have seen for sale in stalls.

I was killing Chakji workers in the endless 600 chakji quest, when all of a sudden a bow/ice thief starts attacking a guy with a trader flag inside the bamboo forest down by the water. What he was doing there I have no idea. I target the thief, see that he's lvl 1 and that he's not doing too much damage. I throw caution to the wind, put on my trader flag, and charge. Mind you, I'm just lvl 22.

I hit him hard and fast. A critical takes about 150 and another hit takes 60 or so. Add some burn damage to that. He starts running away, south, up the hillside. I follow, and since I've got Grass Walk, I gain on him. I see how he's potting constantly, but I keep on hitting my combos, and everytime I come close enough I hit him. We run like this all the way up the hill.

I hit him with my Blood Blade Force and knock him down. I can't hit him when he's down, because I don't have the skill, but I move as close as I can and target him as soon as he gets up. I hit him with a combo before he gets a chance to run away, and he goes down.

This is the first player thief I've killed with this character. Too bad I didn't have my hunter card on me. :)

Well, it's late at night and I haven't played much since my video card started acting up. 15 fps is no picnic. But I decided to go putter around a bit with the view distance all set to 1 and see how things went. Got onto my level 21 archer and decided to do a 1-star from Jangan. Load up camel, on my way, everything is gravy until I reach the homeland. I'm almost through when three soldiers aggro. Small pots aren't strong enough and I zerk too late, manage take one down before being killed.

So now I'm lying on the ground, a flaming demon just taking a little nap, getting irritated at the two people sitting in a circle right next to the road, ignoring me as my camel is carved up. Eventually one of them resurrects me - oh joy! Out of camels, but I've got horses so I gather up my loot and go on my way, forgetting that my 1-star camel cargo is not a 1-star horse cargo. A player thief rides up - oh, it's a Union member. I stop and say hi. As I do, another comes up from behind and takes me down. I am confused, and then realize my mistake. But wait... he's got a lance. I'm right at the last crossroads before Don... One chance remains!

So as the thief leads my goods toward the east gate, I relog and hop onto Chameleon, my level 34 nuker, already in hunter gear. Oh no! All my hotkeys are gone because of the patch. I quickly buff and put nuke, uppercut, and imbue in the first three slots. Run up to the east gate - oh cripes! Four player thieves standing in the doorway. One of them has my goods, but he's... trying to ride the horse into the city? Oh my stars. I wait a minute and two thieves leave. Another is sitting on a horse and not moving, while my thief is still not getting the whole invisible wall thing. I select his horse, imbue, run out and let fly with a nuke and an uppercut. Cripes, now I can't click on him because someone is standing in the way! Still at horrible fps and worried about the other thief and the two who left, I fling the camera around wildly and nuke whatever I can get my cursor on.

Not only does my thief go down without a fight, the other thief's horse is killed, dropping someone else's load on the ground. I didn't wait to see what happened to the other thief himself, just ran back into town and relogged, back onto Bakemaster who's revived in Jangan. Teleport, run to the gate - oh happy days! My loot is still there. Summon horse, grab loot, scurry back into the city before anyone notices - and that's the story of how I hunted for myself on Bakemaster's fourth successful trade run in a row after turning 20. :D

I would have to say that my greatest achievement as of late is NOT buying a large amount of stuff from the item mall. Im still holding myself back....but it hurts. And I waaannnttt it! :D

Since gameguard was put back on there don't seem to be as many stalls up, and weekday nights Babel is hardly ever full. Just the other day it was even showing on the server list as Populated (and so was Oasis!).

3pm GMT it starts getting busier on Xian server, lag gets heavy and it becomes rediculous to try and do anything.

but, this past week i've been able to log on within a few tries no matter what. all they have to do now is get rid of the lag ingame >.>

Today Bakemasters decided to make field trip to Karakoram and oh boy what fun trip it was. :D Have you seen level 30ish and 40ish running there lately? ;) So we made party and started at Hotan west gate, me being the lowest level 33 and highest Bakemasters member there was 43. We got level 46 guide from other guild and head to the wild. We saw and killed some Yetis, we got another 5X level guide and then we killed some BIG white spiders as well (2 were giants)...my part was dying with style as for some odd reason the mobs came after me few times (I was looking for good camera angles) :D We passed by some folks there and got asked "WTF are you guys doing here???" etc. They probably wouldn't have believed that we were after Isyutareu

We basically run through Karakoram area, exit it from south west corner and eventually ended up to North-West corner of the map, our guide had to leave so our trip ended there. Here's couple pics from the location where our trip ended:

Best trip ever! :D
