Oh I just thought the more stars you have, the more NPC thieves you spawn, so 5 thieves for a 5 star. Didn't realize each thief would be higher lvl too. Do you all recommend staying on the horse (especially for lvl 3x) for protection during scrolling, or fight? I just want to survive.

I'm pretty sure at least a couple were red. Might have been orange, but it all happened pretty quick. My pots weren't keeping up with it all.

You can't survive 5 NPCs by only staying on your camel, cause i think they won't disappear before another wave pops, and then u'll have 10 thieves on you... You have to fight :D

And of course you can pop red thieves when you are on 5*. :wink:

What do you mean? Since I had 5 star worth of loot from the trader, I should be able to kill my red thieves? Or do you mean pop another player thief?

dosent any one ever look at the korean game?


ok soon theifs will spawn hunter npc and traders will spawn theif npcs like normal but theifs cant be in the same party as traders or hunters and hunters will get gold for helping finish a trade.

you can even have double spawns with 10 thieves some orange and red ones
and even champion thieves.
when I'm alone I just summon my cercle which protects me :P
but without the harmony cercle i would scroll at 3*

Yep, to survive, you have to be able to kill your own red thieves.

I completely forgot about using my circle. Didn't realize that'd protect me against my own npc thieves. Scroll at 3*? What other way is there to get to thief town when you have stolen goods?

First you have to know how many NPCs you can handle alone.

If some friends are here to help you, then fine, take max camel capacity, scroll and hide...
And stay alive, with your camel :D

By the way, your only way to get to thief town is bandit scroll.

Max number of thiefs you can spawn in one spawn is 12. Full load of expensive shit.

well if traders werent such pussies and would actually go multi star every once in a while there wouldnt be nearly as much 1* popping...

It's funny back before Joymax approved 1 star popping, almost everyone on the forums was anti-1star popping. Very few admited it.

It's interesting to see all the poppers out of the closet.

Good, that's how it should be. I think 1 star popping is a little scumy and frustrating for the victims. Although I rather enjoyed the challenge of out running poppers. I may miss it in some ways.

dude its realistic. i think tahts a good design. lol. in real life if theres an enemy soldier if a bazooka coming at you, they wont say o look at this guy, hes unarmed and newb i guess i wotn kill him.

I don't like 1 star popping, and I don't do it myself when I'm jobbing as a thief. I can see the issue from both sides. On the one hand, as a trader, 1 star popping sucks. It's a lame, lazy way for a thief to earn a living.

On the other hand, a thief shouldn't have to follow any certain rules of conduct. Thieves are meant to be mean and selfish. After all, their only purpose is to rob you for their own profit. So looking at it from a thief's perspective, I guess why not pop?

Reputation is the main thing. It's one thing for a thief to pop on his own. He'll make a lot of enemies really quick. Now if that thief is in a guild, it gives the whole guild a bad name. It really shouldn't though since it's not the guild's fault that the thief popped you.

So in the end, I won't pop as a thief, and we can all hate the act, but I don't think popping should necessarily HAVE to go away. Someone pops you? Get revenge.

i dont think they should stop it... a trading job shouldnt be easy lol...

get on your camal... ride to the next town... thats just gay...

what they should do is make 1 star caravans open game.. anyone can
attack you...

but to counter that you get a HUGE amount of money if you make it to
another city (500%+)

even if they do do this... (theifs spawn hunters) ill just pop on a trader
suit and pop other traders... then log and get on my theif and loot...

always a way around it lol...

If they do that, high level players will do 1 star runs just to have a higher chance of survival. This is assuming 500%+ profit on a 1 star is more money than normal profit on a 3-5 star.

They should put a maximum gap for jobbing. I.e., you can only attack a player within maybe 3-5 levels of you, whether you're a trader, hunter, or thief. Level the playing field.
