Why should they be unattackable? Why not let a lvl 22 thief attack a lvl 22 trader? If they're both the same level, it should be a fair fight. Maybe 1 lvl above/below similar to your 2/3/4/5 levels above/below for the other stars.
With the new update, 1 stars won't get popped by thieves, but I don't think they should get a free ride. Give them at least some danger, and also give low level thieves something to do.

Yup they need to do that. I agree. That was one of my points in the first post that 1* would be an easy ride with this patch. They shoudl do something to make a 1* less beneficial or have ppl be able to attack them. I have a feeling it will involve certain levels being able to attack people within their range.

Wow Wow Wow, I'm still seeing some whinning here. What is the point? The update is going to happen, no one can do anything about it, it's already implemented in ksro, I wonder the thiefs there cry as much as what I'm seeing. The only positive out of this is you guys seem to be coming together with ideas that isn't going to make a difference. Go Level up, Scout areas, get out and find the 2 stars! They are out there, you just miss them cause you are too busy sitting at the ferry waiting to pop a 1 Star for 50k and be proud of yourself, but hey that's more thrilling to you, instead of working for you're loot right?

LoL, no I don't hate thieves and I didn't specifically say PimpC was crying. I actually promote thiefing, trading and hunting. I want everyone to experience all the jobs the games has to offer. I have several members in the guild that does all the jobs. I myself do not thief because I choose not to. Its a thrilling feeling out hunting and knowing the possibility that you may get ya ass kicked or do some ass kicking and it should be the same way for a thief. I was helping a lvl 32 guildie the other day multistar to hotan. I knew it was shaky but he was persistant on going. We took the long route passed about 10 multistar traders on our way. We were doing fine, until lvl 70 nuker thief from Anbu (had to be hybrid) ran by us (I thought we were ok, until she came back)and got the drop on me. It was a nice battle I died 3 times. I didn't and I never will get mad it's apart of the game and thats why I play it. Seems like alot of the times no other soul in the game wants to experience that rush and that's sad.

Me and my friend pulled off a 5 star to jangan once, and it took us about 2 hours lol. The reward was pretty good tho, something like 270k. We didnt run into 1 theif and 7 of his theives spawned at once. It was def. fun, but I don't thinkill do it any more. It's nerve wrecking.
Thanks everyone for your input about theiving...I think I actually will change my ways and explore around for multistar my lvl, or go wiht higher lvles. I too get a rush out of fighting a hunter, and maybe beating some1 3 lvles higher than you with zerk. It's definatly fun, and that's one of the fun parts of theiving.
I hope the new patch wont ..... everything up, but I thk they will balance it better than it is now..Thanks for not turning this into a flame topic!

I personally think this is a great idea. Thiefs would be happy, traders would do multistars. No more reasons to complain

I'm actually looking forward to this update. I hope it works out well and more thieves turn to rob multi stars instead of taking the lazy way and pop. I agree with the person above that said it's fun, a rush, to go after the larger targets and actually WORK for your loot. I'm still somewhat of a low level for thieving, only a low 3x now, but I will still thief from time to time just for the challenege.

Who cares about the traders. Put on the thief suit and kill HUNTERS. You dont see hunters gonig oooooooooh, ima protect 1* trades. They're more like oooooooooooooh ima get me some thief meat.

hehe so true, if you hunt you own or get owned
Btw. i know a lot of people doing 2 stars or more, but they walk alone and take alternative routes.
Don't expect much low level multi stars in death ravine...

you will be popping other thieves instead of traders now
instead of just hunters and traders to worry, you'll be worrying about other player thieves and their NPC hunters as well

I don't really care if they eliminate popping. I haven't 1* popped since i got high enough to hit multis in the ravine.

me and my guild mates always do trade runs, and they all do multi stars.....not just 2*, but is like 4 and 5*. we are not super high lvls.....we are just lvl 3X. we just take a safer route
so all those thiefs out there, don't expect to see a 5* so easy, coz we don't want to see u, and we hide from u.....lol

They need to make more incentive for people to do multistar trades, like if they had a BIG jump in how much you can carry from 1 star to 2 star trades.
