- If you're not completely dumb, you would put it together.

And if you play that much silkroad a day, you need to find a shrink.

You don't really need a ticket, it's the monkey or whatever that is really needed. When you grind 5x levels with a -9 gap for 3 months and get 00.01 exp every 10 kills and then you finish farming and closing your gap that 00.01 seems so good. And it sticks with you forever, you'll always appreciate that "crap" exp once you've had a 9 gap.

So even with no ticket and you was getting 00.01 a kill it's no big deal, it all comes down to how much willpower you have.

But forget botting, if your not gonna play the game whats the point in playing it? Would you buy a PS3 game and bot your way through it lol?

Pay £50 for it, set up a bot, go to bed and wake up to see the end credits, uhhh yeah :?

It can be done just depends on how much patience you got.

I'm not sure if I completely understand, do you mean additional GT's AFTER the free ones you get when making a char? If so then yeah I think so, I used only the one GT and ST I recieved for free with my char and while I'm still only 2X now I'm having fun with the game. I actually enjoy going out grinding on things, setting a specific goal for exp or just mobbing to hunt for good drops. There's so many aspects to this game I can have fun with it regardless of my level. Honestly I think once I'd get too high in level I'd get bored. I've been going out with a bow that I'd picked up as a drop (I'm a s/s user) and was just hunting low level mobs to locate some low level good equipment for starting a new char. I ended up finding SoS drops plus a bunch of nice blue and + equipment for my second and third chars. I was out hunting like that last night, then when I got bored with it I saw a friend doing a trade run so I grabbed my gear and went on a few of those with him for awhile, then switched to my newer char to start leveling that one also. There's a bunch of stuff to do in this game that doesn't require you to be high level. I don't exactly understand why everyone is in a race to level up anyway. I just take it gradually as it comes, I grind for fun if I feel like doing it not as something that MUST be done, so I don't see it as tedious.

One of the best things is figuring out LEGIT money-making deals, I don't want to say I started this on RedSea but when I was starting out I noticed there were two niches not being filled. Since I did them I've noticed there is ALWAYS other players doing them now so I'll go on and post them. One, I used to load up on pots and horses, and go outside the Tomb in the NE and sell for profit. Those players just ATE UP those pots and horses. I quit doing that because after awhile there was ALWAYS someone doing the same thing there, in fact even last night I went back to there to hunt for alchemy drops and there were two stalls selling pots and horses. Before I did it there was NEVER anyone there doing that. After that then, I realized there was pretty much a similar niche to be filled just past the middle bridge in Jangan, lots of teen level players hunting yeoha and tigers that would rather buy 50 pots for 7k than go all the way back to town to get them, or horses for 3k to go back fast to sell off their drops or whatever. Or, higher levels heading to the fort wanting to get there faster would buy up a bunch of horses. I made a bunch of money doing that, 'til again a bunch of players started doing the same thing and now the bridges are usually crowded with stallers. Sure, I wasn't gaining any levels and is probably part of the reason I am still only 2X but hitting the level cap as soon as possible or "pwning" each other in PvP isn't really my idea of fun.

maybe those times should ring a bell those were the times YOU posted the last 24 hours on srf.
do you share an account on srf? seems like playing more than 3 hours is far less than the time you posted here.

to play without any goldticket requires a lot of nerves and especially a great ability to plan ahead. know where to grind for the best results for would be great. the gap you want and most important when to have a big gap and when to close it.

small tips if you plan to grind without a ticket.

- get a bigger gap when grinding towards a new npc version of a weapon (especially when you can afford a sos) and continue till you can`t handle it and close the gap. (sp is the most time consuming part of this game so make always sure you got enough for the upcoming levels, and don`t waste your hardgained sp on useless skills.. plan ahead)

- farm a decent amount of sp in the early levels (20k to 50 or more). the higher you get the closer your gap should be, just because it takes a lot more time and patience to get to the next level.

-make sure you dont waste time grabbing stuff when you can 1 hit mobs .. grab in that case the chest drops.

-if you got a second pc make sure you stall 24/7 (sounds lame but without a ticket this is a great way to get money)

-get a fast leveling build, or get a tanker and make sure you grind as much as you can on aggressive mobs

Wtf does sp farming or not or weapon or level have to do with gold ticket?
All it does is give you double sp/exp. Some people try to make things too complicated...

of course it is. this is a f2p game, and although it's long and tedious to get to 80, it's possible.

it has actually a lot to do with it/
the more sp you could get in the begin due to the fast kill can spare you some crucial and especially mental stress later.

building your gap with a sos weapon is a lot less stress than without. having a gap of 5 at level 31 with a 28+3 weapon or having a gap of 5 at 37 is a big difference when having a sos level 32+3 weapon ( hope you get the point)

it is sure a lot more fun to know when to take a bigger gap and when to close it and it is not that complicated either, just a small tip to make it less stressy.

Of course, but that goes for everyone. What does it have to do with having a gold ticket or not?

I just got to 50 today. Hand grinded it since May 2006. Now its Feb 2007. Took a long time. I didn't farm at 16 since I only knew about farming when i was lvl 28. I play with a 5 lvl gap now.Hybrid Int Sword/Shield. I only play 1 to 3 hrs a day and when I get to 5% more than my previous lvl percentage I quit and do something else. :D
