But ever since coming back 2-3 months ago, I've got a really laid back "I don't give a damn" attitude, so I don't let stuff get to me like I did before. It's supposed to be a game. Games are supposed to be fun and I plan on keeping it that way. There's no need to play something if all it does is cause you to want to punch someone in the throat.
If I die I brush it off, if someone talks shit to me I ignore them, if I don't like someone I'll ks them until my mouse breaks, if my alchemy fails (which it usually does)- better luck next time.
Playing to play is a LOT more fun than playing because you have to, or because your friends play.

+1. I've got a bad problem of feeling like I need to play, rather than just want to play. That goes for MMO's in general. In a persistant world, one doesn't want to be left behind.

BlackFox may be a botter, but in game at least he is harmless. Ive talked to him a few times and he's been nothing but polite. I can live with that.

I ceased to care when JM did I guess. Crayon's wife comes here and posts that we dont see whatever it is they are doing.... and how cruel our criticisms are. Well, we dont see the work. We are over run by botters, foul mouthed global spammers, hackers and scammers. How hard is it to ban ppl who harrass you with "SUK MA DIK" in PMs for hours? Or how does someone global that they bot and NOT get banned? When lilazian's GF got banned, he globaled "F_UCK THE GMMMMMS" for five hours straight.

We had talked among ourselves in Vent about when it went south. In Xian, botting was rare. THen the Ducks came along. THey were the first blatant, admitted botters. Everyone saw them botting, everyone saw their full sets of SOS, their unkillable fully farmed chars. We also saw how they never got banned. Pretty soon, ppl realized that there were no consequences. The Bears came soon after and NIKE ceased hiding that they bot. Pretty soon the botters outnumbered the rest of us. Nice ppl, ppl I like began to bot. Now what? The water is so muddy now, who can tell. JM tells us nothing. We see no headway being made.

They could take an hour a day to just WALK through the bunwangs, mujigis or Yetis and ban at least 20 goldfarmers everyday. But they dont. They could go through Takla and just LOOK at the Snipers and Mages and ban ppl there, but they dont. My friend was out training, then all of a sudden ppl started DCing around him. He figured out it must be a GM.... a few minutes later, they all started reappearing and going back to training. That is ridiculous.

JM doesnt seem to understand that we dont care about how much money they make, or how pretty the site is, or how well translated it is. The game would be so much better without the bot. Not just a little better, it would go back to being the fantastic game it was at the 60 cap.

Right now... it suks. The attitudes of the ppl in it reflect that.

yea, true, all friends started botting, legit guilds become botter guilds, thats what happens when people get tired of trying to fight a program that grinds for you.
