I called the Korean office today, to be somewhat vaguely confirmed by GM hanpooh [I always assumed hanpooh was a woman ] that they in fact do not get everything that is sent to the US office. I informed him of the botting issue, the account security, and the serious lag issues.

"We only recieve a monthly report on what the California represenatives find glitched. We're aware that there is a 'afk leveling' problem, but we did not know it was to a certain degree."
"Any letters you can send would be helpful I'll initiate an investigation into your claims and the efficiency of the California office."

You just made my day =) I asked a friend of mine who is korean if she could help me with writing a letter to JM, but she only knows basic korea, she mentioned she can have someone else help me tho, so JM can certainly expect a letter from me <3

Kiriyu and I no longer play, and if Itonami hadnt come up with this whole scheme in the first place, we wouldn't have gotten the idea. Silkroad is a great game, it's just neglected.
Basically contacting them now, this far after beta, is an effort to keep the players ingame. Botters or not, the game does deserve to be fixed as far as lag goes, as far as account security, and as far as general gameplay. [We ll love those random walls in the middle of nowhere.] I think no matter who plays, you should at least keep your services decent.

I don't know about players emailing, calling up, threatening, demanding, suing, and talking to the BBB is really going to turn out well.

i think we can all agree that JM knows what the problems are, and not that the CA office isn't sending them all the feedbacks, it's about making money the world, not yeilding to every whine & cry there is out there directed at you're product

What the original post and other are doing to Joymax right now is pushing them to cave to there demands, they arent asking or altering them of anything new.

Joymax is struggling so what do the players do?

I would help make the community better, or take a break, but u guys yell at the company and shove it in there face anymore.

How far up there ass will they take it till they just shutdown iSRO forever and figure the juice wasnt worth the squeeze.

I'd rather have no game than a broken neglected one.
I'm moving to jSRO as I type this...

Now i totally agree with what was said here. The bot issue is NOT joymax's fault. Sure it is their responsibility to fix it, us players are the ones who caused it.


Now i would send over a letter myself, but whilst im saving to get my pc fixed, i cant really afford it.

did you ever consider how rude nokturnes post was? It constantly challenged morningdew's authority. On top of that there were there provocations..instead of trying to talk to MD or get a comment she was rude. No wonder Nockturne had the account banned. Ontop of that Consider the fact that it may not be a california problem. Maybe this issue is being forwarded to the korea offices. Fankly i think under the banner of open forum Nockturne abused her rights. The thread basically beomes a mob lynching...its like you all were thirsting for Blood.

Realize that none of you suggestions above are new. Everything you have sais someone at sometime has said on this forum or the official forums. MorningDew has answered to all of those questions. And at best she would say what she said before..."we are working on it"

I really don't wanna be rude, but why do you think the USA team has absolutely no authority?What makes you think that? How come the other versions of SRO don't have the same problems as the iSRO has?
