This game needs much more visible presence from Joymax, but when they do get ingame half the server is trying to gank them.

Then again, it really is Joymax's fault for making GMs attackable. GMs should be able to toggle their attackability status on and off - after all they can toggle invisibility, why is this so hard to do?

THey're GMs who cares if they get killed?

They can teleport to any location, use special skills, can make themselves invisible, etc.
They expect us to believe that them getting pked will prevent them from doing their job? (when they are visible all they do is bs around anyway) BS they should be able to res themselves.

That's possible through pk2 editing

I know if I was a GM, I'd never want to come on a server where everyone within eye sight wanted to kill me. How can you expect a GM to get any work done if everyone is constantly chasing and trying to PK him/her? Sad, just sad.

Only on the client side. Now if the person that created that screenshot happened to change the items ladyasiana was wearing into GM armor, then yes, she would appear that way in the pic. But the screenshot creator would have to know beforehand what type of armor ladyasiana is wearing.

Also, other people in the area wouldn't see the GM armor then...

Someone above said she's fake because she's not talking in pink... Yeah I doubt that. I don't think GMs HAVE to talk in pink, but they can. Also, I highly doubt someone would go through the trouble of leveling a fake GM character all the way up to lvl 64+ (or whatever level that spear is) just to be able to impersonate a GM like that.

How exactly would this be payback? Killing a GM has absolutely no affect on the GM except maybe to discourage them from coming to that area to help people out. Everyone complains that GMs never show their faces in the game, then when they do, everyone treats them like trash.

It's not payback, it's just stupid and childish.

I understand that's what was meant. I realize that Joymax gives horrible support in iSRO. I don't really blame them considering how people in this game treat them.

That said, I still think it's childish to chase a GM trying to kill them every time you see them. It solves nothing. Joymax isn't going to say "oh our players want to kill us whenever we log on. Maybe we should provide better service."

Here's an idea. When a GM comes onto the game, show them some respect. Let them do their jobs, talk to them, joke with them, whatever. Don't treat them like trash and they'll be more willing (and able) to do their jobs.

1st of, you won't see me wasting my time chasing after a GM.

2nd, if gaymax would actually care about its people who daily pay do you think people would chase them around, more over even try to kill them?

3rd if you try to talk to a GM do you think he/she is going to respond? wake up, they only ask questions without answering them so no, you won't get any response.

Basically to put it short: They like to take without giving anything back.

No wonder people are mad at them and would like to unleash that anger onto them. I'm not saying that's how it should be, I'm just saying if they do it, they have the right to do so because GM's farked it up in the first place.

Being a GM is not a public service or a volunteer position. lol They get paid for that and WE are the ones paying.

And for the first year of this game, there was NO contact of any kind from JM, so they caused this problem themselves. Instead of fixing it, they whine and cry about ppl attacking GMs. Its because we dont respect them and dont really need them as they have proved themselves to basically useless.

I understand where you're coming from. I didn't mean you specifically chase GMs around or anything. I understand Joymax hasn't shown any support to us. They're never around to help, and that makes it quite easy to disrespect them. All I was saying is the few times that a GM actually DOES come online, a lot of people seem to trash them. Not everyone, but a lot of people.

GMs can do a lot of their work behind the scenes. Granted, they definitely should show a presense on the server as well to show the users that they really are making an effort to help us.

So I guess the question is, how do the GMs get our respect back? We want them to be more active publicly, but when they do, you know what happens. Maybe they should just come on anyway and put up with it. Show us they can be active even with the abuse and maybe the abuse will die down.

they dont need our respect b/c as far as they knwo Sro community is growing once servers decline on population once they make less money. then they will think of a way to gain respect to bring an audience back for now complaining doesnt do much since one person says they hate 1* popping yet the game population increases everyday even if there gold botters someone must be buying the gold.
