Pertaining specifically to SRO, many of you complain about the game, it's poor management, the botters, jerks, gold-buyers... why do you stay with it? You grind hard, you grind even harder, you play 6-7 hours a day, there goes your summer – and still, you see the botters rush past you, to 80, fully farmed, and own you in PvP with a gold-bought SoSun 64+9 Glavie.
How is this different than real life really? May be you're a young guy and haven't worked much. Real life is also full of poor managers that are above you. There are botters, jerks, gold-buyers too in real life; they're the rich kids with the Bimmers that their parents bought them; they could afford IV league schools, while you go to some crap hole State university... and still they get better jobs then you in real life with their "connections" (all this is like getting own in PvP, but with their money bought degrees from famous schools and a nice car to pick up chicks, instead of a sosun). So you grind 6-7 hours a day in SRO while the sun is shining outside; most people work in 9 to 5 jobs in an office, most don't like their jobs; at least you like playing the game, don't you??? OK, may be I was generalizing a bit; not all rich folks are that bad; just most
For some, there are also the 'real life' interaction with people who are also playing game; that's pretty real... more real than your co-workers or some guy in school who happens to be in the same lecture hall.
