Yes, certainly a scam. No company would need you to provide them credentials to get into your account. Joymax owns the account, so of course they would be able to access the data through their database.

Technically, the Joymax system administrators, or GMs, or other personnel, wouldn't be able to determine what your password *actually* is (assuming they use one-way encryption on them -- which any sensible company would... let's leave the JM flames out of here on that.)

Joymax doesn't even need your password anyway. Similarly, if you are a system administrator on a Windows server, you do not need your users' passwords to get into their files. If you're root on a Unix box, you do not need the users' passwords. You just browse to their folder, or even 'su' to their account to pretend to be them (without entering a password).

I got the same email, reported as spam instantly.

By the way, if you read carefully you'll notice the same grammatical error appearing twice.
