It's because you're altering their files, I THINK - correct me if I'm wrong. However, I don't think JM is THAT stupid not to know about this PK2-editing craze going around, considering that some of it's been posted on the Official SRO Forum...
That said, if it was really that big of a problem, I would have expected them to have said something by now. But with JM in charge, you never know.
Pk2 editing is not a danger as long as it is used for your own personal enjoy without affecting the game itself. I mean, as long as you don't force an unfair advantage for you, or hurt other player's gameplay, they don't have reasons for banning you.
That's why i said: the filter can be seen by everyone. It's not that harmful imo, but the chances of ban are higher with an edit that can be noticed by people in game, rather than changes than only can be seen by you. That, of course if JM would bother to look at the game... Their main worry that can make them work in banning these edits, is the mod thing, after all... some of them DC their precious customers...
Btw, i always encourage the use of correct grammar, but in game, i can't survive without "wtf" it just makes me laugh everytime i see it
and i use it alot because i simply think it's funny. And that's the only one word i would like to be able to say.
