You dont have to buy silk to enjoy this game
ive been playing this game for 2 years now
havent bought any silk exepct for when a ferinds decided to buy me some ^^
it is possible to get to 80 without silk
it is possible to log in without silk
its possible to do anything in silkroad with out Silk
if its anyone who taught me to enjoy this game it is MysticCat form xian
i didnt grind for 3 months just stood out side the gate of jangan and had fun

Well I guess nothing in life is free, so SRO is not free either. Of course it wouldn't exist if no one payed for it, but it can be played free of charge for those who choose to do so. That's all I'm trying to say. So I guess thank you for paying so I can enjoy this game for free.

For the most part, I play this game for free, and enjoy it.

I have a level 24 character, that I've never used silk on, and my girlfriend's character is a level 10, which I did use silk on, to buy the three footed crow.

I enjoy the game immensely without paying for it.

Why would your computer need to be "dedicated" to SRO just because you're logged in? It's perfectly possible to stay logged in and alt-tab to other programs so you can use your computer for whatever you want with SRO running in the background.

You like to insult people a lot. I'm sure it wins you a lot of friends.

@Drth half the reason I wine is so that ppl like you that are new to this game can see what's in store for you. lvl 24 is a weekend's worth of gaming, lvl 10 is about an hour.

@Karlos good points, and while that is strictly true, silkroad is a for profit game, and if everyone took your attitude it would die or move to p2p. The only reason you can play for free is because I pay cash to play. I simply wish ppl would respect that a little more, particularly JM. btw while it's possible to do anything in sro for free (if you're lucky) it's also possible to walk across the US on your hands and knees, tho some might not see the point of that.

@xmoshe, thanks for pointing out Karlos' post ... I never would have seen it if not for you you can go now .... oh ye btw it is MY internet connection that causes server inspections and disconnects EVERYONE

@PROM, why the hell would I want to have sro chewing up resources while I play another game? Perhaps if they just coded a decent item mall alot of problems would be solved.

and if you log in after server inspection on tuesday, you can be online for almost a whole week :o

aside from the fact that doesn't really work (emergency inspections, isp issues, i dunno, perhaps you want to play another game, or just reboot ur pc o0) it's a completely gay thing to do, however not really a surprise you think like that. Hmm let's compound the login problems by idling 24/7 in servers and chanting "It's a free game".
