you need to increase your File page usage.
my computer
rigt click, properties

performance
settings
advnced
change it on cutom. make minimum higher and maximm higher.
ever noticed if you take file page totally off the task manager goes red. when playing games the ram memory goes sky high. it need the file page usage to help it. the more the better.

A reboot every 24 hours or so helps (on a Windows system).
You could use CachemanXP and let it handle the paging file too. http://www.outertech.com/ (assuming you have WinXP)

i think its because you have open programs that take too much virtual memory and the pc cant handle all that much in so little time so it takes time to process it all.
well IDK that what i think LOL
It's RAM. That's what virtual memory is for. When your RAM gets full, and the computer needs more memory, it moves stuff from RAM that's not currently in use, and puts it in virtual memory on your hard drive. Then there is more RAM available for your running applications.
Windows will normally allocate a certain amount of hard drive space for Virtual Memory, say, 2.5x your RAM. If you have 1 gig RAM, you might have 2.5 gigs of Virtual memory by default. If that fills up, Windows will resize it, which will slow your system down a bit until it's done.
If it keeps resizing virtual memory, you're probably running too many programs for your system to handle. Then you could just get more RAM.

If im playing sro i dont run anything else. If im on the internet then its just the web browser and the chat.

It seems to me, at least on certain setups, that SRO has a memory leak. When I start the game, it doesn't take up much memory. I think I saw it around 60k RAM, but after a while it gets up to 250+, sometimes 300+ megs RAM. So maybe it's a memory leak issue, which would be up to Joymax to fix in that case.

Try to differenciate betweens virtual memory and physical memory first
