In one hundred years when the already banned boter's ban penalty is up.

What this guys says i believe is mostly true. it is a business and i cant for the life of me imagine joymax banning everyone that purchases silk. When they do ban people check the names, i bet most dont know any of them. The ones that get banned i bet use a clientless bot as well. As long as the money rolls in to joymax there is nothing wrong with the game.

i dont rly mind when people r botting to lv up but when there just ksing everything for gold and
r afk for days on end that pisses me off and spammers

Basically Joymax has spent so much time ignoring the problem that its near impossible to reverse it, without taking isro down with the bots.

FINALLY, someone listens to what I've said a hundred times.

Bot ban = chargebacks = paypal dropping JM = no income to pay for the game = no game.
Until JM comes up with a payment method like Blizzard has for WoW, like direct payment of some sort, they'll go bankrupt if they do a bot ban.

yup i hate gold bots, and botters are okay, i just hate them flaunting how high they are.

oh i also don't like those peeps who show off how high they really fast due to power leveling. Lazy ass, but YES, THERE IS A HINT OF JEALOUSY THERE, who dont like getting power leveled.

oh lastly, i don't remember how to speak pinoy anymore, i mostly remember foods............ like lechon, kasava cake, fruit salad.

It's true, the gold botters could be more easily taken care of, but there's two problems:

A: The shear volume of them
B: They'll just make more

And the problem with IP banning is three fold

A: You can change your IP
B: A lot of people play in cybers [ie... ban the ip branch, ban the whole cyber]
C: A lot of accounts are also played on multiple ips.

The bot problem is a lot more complex then some people claim it to be. Sure, I could go and ban myself a 1000 gold bots in a day, but the following day all 1000 will be back on new accounts...

ok guys your solution to your problem go to one of this three server odin, mercury, and i think pluto i can get in them on when server traffic is at its peak. also ip ban would work like the guy says cause it is very easy to change it to a different one i have done it to make a extra 20 accounts to store elixirs. waiting for 90 cap to get rich.

We adjusted our playing time to be able to skip peak server hours, we sleep earlier and be able to wake up 4AM in the morning

Stop complaining . Get used to it , live with it , makes ur life easier. Half of the posts in forums is people complaining about bots. How much more complaining will ya need to do before u understand that ur asking joymax to stop making money ?

Joymax could somehow make it so the bot programs won't work anymore!
Then all the legit people can play and I can have more friends!

If they could, 90% of the population wouldn't bot. Joymax knows what the problems with their game are. They market this game and try to fix issues that might discourage others from joining and perhaps buying silk. The botting problem isn't that easy to resolve. For each countermeasure Joymax implements, the bot coders will create their own means to circumvent it. People scream thinks like punkbuster or steam's vac2, but even those would know that it isn't hard to aim or wall hack with these in place. The only way I could think to simply REDUCE [yes, reduce, not eliminate] the botting problem is by setting up an actual team of gms and start TEMP banning players caught botting for a week or so. It might not be too drastic, but if you got temp banned every other week for a week I bet you'd reconsider using the bot. [But even this would take considerable time and money. You would need a fairly large team of gms to monitor all the servers. 2 or 3 each shouldn't be too bad. Put a bug report in place in the game to report possible player bots needing investigation. Abuse of the system would also result in a 1 week temp ban.]

Yeah.... they used to ban bots, those were the good days where you had many friends to play with.

It can, i read it on SRF dunno where exactly, but what helps (tried it myself couple of times) is scamming the bot with a exchange, the times i tried the Dc'ed so try that.

Player bots = no big prob


Gold bots = ruin the server traffic / game / economy / balance of players (those who buy gold are unbeatable).

SO STOP BUYING GOLD YOU DUMB ASSES.

Just had to say that. The more gold you buy, the more you help them to mess up the game.

man joymax jsut darn lazy thats all....gold bots filling up the flipping servers and then joymax get money..cuz poor us want to login and cant >.> so premium is our resort..well we buy prem anyways....take forever to get to 80 wivout it

I also think Nitrex is right if we went about getting gold the right way....there would be no need for gold botters...and so the game would be better...im stil waiting on the day when iSRO will be like cSRO..ALWAYS POPULATED
