I knew this thread will fail :D another motivation for moving to OTL.

Now just last question - would you buy a new, technically better, but very ugly for your taste car, or keep your current car, technically not so advanced, but working fine, shiny and which you like most?

You can NOT answer this question. As i see for some guys here it's difficult to understand that i also like how thing looks, not only how it works :banghead:

And all i wanted is to ask CHINA char players why they still play with their old chars. Sorry for drama, but seems like SGD cant live without flame :banghead:

Now if you don't mind, please let this topic die. :)

Depends on the situation. If it's a car bought for 5 bucks of coin, then i'll buy a new one no matter what. But if it's a car left from a dear grand-parent, i'll keep for memory.
Just like sro, chinese play from the 1st legend = effort as car = memory (not counting the botter, they have all type of char anyway, and who would bot an euro char anyway?)

Euros lack creativity.
I like having weird Chinese builds as alts that still work.

I prefer Chinese because they are much more fun. I like a challenge, 1 hitting everything is boring.

I'd rather spend my time trying to prove chinese are better than proving euros are better than chinese. Its easier to prove Euros are better but still..

grinding is more fun as an euro build but pvp is still better as china.
will be a hard choice when cap 90 opens question will be to continue my euro or get my china char to 90 first.

I like china chars much better The skills are better, the looks are better and no potion delay is great. Imo Euros are no better than China chars anyways. I don't know why so many people thinks euros are best. Maybe they just don't know how to play a chinese char right?

chinese pvp became lame with snow shield. thats the main reason im no longer chinese. whacking on someone for 2 min before you can do decent damage is just lame. id rather watch my wizards 1 shot snow shield chinese while i tank for them.

if snow shield and bless spell got taken out of sro, chinese would be tempting to play on once more.

I stopped playing on my Chinese character because the play had become too repetitive.. for me. Granted, I quit my Chinese before Euro was released because it seemed like the only way to actually be good was to have good gear. Skill-wise, spamming a few skills and calling it a day wasn't my idea of exciting- tedious at best. So I made my Euro characters. With the pot delay, it helps make gameplay fun for me because now I actually have to think my skills through before using them or I'll die. I've contemplated making a new Chinese character though, but then I go look at Chinese PvP at DW, and as I see them fighting for 3-4 minutes straight, I start remembering why I quit my Chinese- I don't have that kind of patience.

o heh... i finally figured out why i like euro lol
chinese is about having best gear and farmed before they consider "having fun"

euro can still be good with npc gear and even with "good" gear, they cant overcome weakness but only minimize it... so euro is more interesting to me

its their skill, live with it -.-. and i dont get the fun in euros. i have made alot of euros and deleted alot of them, cause they just dont seem fun -.-.

mostly i care about the looks, and thats why i have a chinese. mmorpgs are made for fun, not owning every one -.-. cool looks = fun for me. nice looking skills are better (my opinion), than a skill that one hit ko's. i like long pvp better (more than 10 secs lol) than pvp when u hit someone and run to safety. and even if u are not cape fighting, i have seen rogues one hit with a xbow, and keep running -.-. thats why i stay with chinese :D. i think my nuker's nuke owns (in looks) more than a wizards nuke. DA is prolly the only euro weapon that has nice looking weapons and skills.

about the car thing... would u rather drive a car that can go up to 500 mph, but looks like it was made in the 1920's, would u rather drive a sports car, but it can only go up to 100 mph?
BTW the sports car would be able to drift, but not the other car.
---------i would go with the sports car------

There are builds that are better than Bladers in more than just the PvP aspect of the game...

dude thats such bs. Euroes will own any chinese char any day (if they know how to play) even if they have much worse gear

by how? one hit killing? thats the only thing they can do, except for warrior and warlocks, and they need good gear to pawn.

@BloodOwnz: blader is prolly the best pvp build -.-. it can sometimes take some time to kill, but it totally owns.
Blader>wiz 8).

Blader > Wizard... Yeh that wasn't totally obvious or anything... -_-...

I meant to say Bladers are better but I worded it wrong...

Why you still play with china chars? You can lvl fast with euros, euros have more advantages/stronger (look in forums, everybody are scarred about Euro 9D sun weapons). So, why do you keep playing with your old and dusty china char?

For me, the main reason i keep playing with china is - euro looks ghay. Really, armors, garms or protectors, there is so many types and forms of them, but i dont like any of it. Skills, i dunno...not bad, but i like china better. And now the worst thing about euro - animation. Man, they run like..like, i dont know, like they shitted their pants. Dagger users, looks like they gonna shit their pants any moment...ant when they run, looks like those daggers are sooo heavy.
Female chars are pretty good, but male >.<

Sorry to all Euro's here, this is only my opinion...i just like how thing looks in this game, and not really how it works..i think this is the main reason why i play with blader :)

Do you preferred to die as a China man? or some homosac? XD

Wow.. poor deep.in. The guy was just asking a question for anyone to answer, and giving his opinions (in a nice manner). All of a sudden he has 3984 people on his nuts.

Sad.

Silly goose, there's plenty of builds out there besides kamikaze rogues and wizards :P Euros are perfectly capable of surviving well while soloing, even better while partying.

Chinese character pvp really is mainly about spamming skills. That's both the fun part and the boring part. It's nice to have pvp that lasts longer but at the same time it's also fun to own people quickly and efficiently.

Chinese characters also have the good looking skills and armor. They got the flashy blader chains and imbues, while Euros have less stylish skills. But in a full European party, it's really quite awesome to see the colorful bard, wizard, cleric, and warlock spells at the same time.

I began Europe because Chinese characters... take more time and money in general to make. SP farming, gear pimping, less damage, unable to party efficiently, etc.

I do like the chinese art better though, every time i try to go back to chinese i just can't do it after being euro.

I don't know what it is i like better about it, it just feels more rustic to me, i can see my self more realistically as a guy with a cross bow vs a guy with a spear that can shoot fire for some reason. Euro just feels more natural to me
