When we get big updates like we do every 6 months with steady and stable servers which very really shut down for no reason, we shouldnt complain too much. Sure sro has its problems, but for a free mmo it aint so bad. The gold bots are the fault of the community, not joymax. Player bots are the community's fault, not joymax's. The way i see it start blaming the people who ruin the game and not joymax for letting it happen. When the players caused the problems why would joymax fix it? Joymax as a company simply wants to keep its customers happy. The majority of customers in this game like to bot and buy gold, so thus joymax allows it to happen. As soon as the entire community turns against bots, they will disappear. Gold bots are only here on a supply and demand status remember.

Remember isro could get much worse than it is, be thankful for what we get.

But thats life. I dont like being killed by any sun bot when im jobbing, i hate having to grind with 50 bots ksing my mob.. but theres no point complaining. Why? Thats life. It's not the community fault for letting it happens. It's JM allow it. Seriously, do u think implement a secret checksum check to the client is hard? Maybe hacker could crack it. But at the time they realize it, 10k+ of gold bots is automatically banned.

If in the street, a police saw a stealer steals a sandwitch from a store. The police says: it's ok, I just want to make him happy and not starving, i wont arrest him, it's the sandwitch seller's fault for letting it happened, for not paying attention???

If the people didnt break the law there wouldn't be a problem. Simple as that. Dont blame other people for someones actions.

Just because joymax doenst ban bots it doesnt mean we should bot. I thought you of all people would realize that. But i guess your silly scenario shows otherwise.

Yes, im blaming both JM and the bots.
- JM close one eye and not doing their job, not respecting their ToS. If they do nothing against the bots just to keep them happy, why not remove from the ToS "using of 3rd pt prog..."?
- The bots break the law and not having any punishment, while the legit suffer for not breaking anything.


The "if" is just your imagination. The bots did break the law so there was a problem. If the police isnt doing his job, there is no reason to not blaming him.

So after all u want to say: it's OK that JM doesnt ban the bot, and it's OK to buy gold and bot?

All im saying is that the game is the way it is because of the users. Joymax has the right to do nothing about it from a business stand point, its their game they can do what they want.

But when the users of this game have broken the laws it shouldnt be held responsible to joymax to fix it, but rather for the players to have the self control to not break the law in the first place.

Maybe my views are too idealistic, who knows. I have stayed legit over a very long time of playing the game and i fail to see why others dont as well.

So as u said nothing will be fixed because users (botter) dont want to fix it, JM has no responsible.

no you assume i have said its ok to break the law yet my very argument is against that idea.

What im saying is people shouldnt break the law in the first place, thus no need for police or in this case joymax interference.

If u didnt read carefuly what i said, i'll repeat it again.

It's the community's fault for creating the bot problem in the first place. It's Joymax's fault for continuing to let it happen. However, as a company, Joymax wants to do whatever they can to make a majority of their customers happy. If the majority likes botting, why should Joymax stop it?

Why would it be a bad thing, from a gold company's standpoint if 10k+ of their gold bots are banned? It might hurt some, but they can just recreate new accounts, plvl them back up to a decent level and farm some more.

As you've said, the MD5 thing could be cracked after those 10k+ accounts are banned. Bot writers can just develop a work-around, then create 10k+ new gold bots that will no longer be banned.

Server-side-only bot banning would be a better solution.

I think that JM keeps isro only for the money. All the mmorpg awards JM got were for ksro.
