Thats not the point. If you can't figure it out, like so many others around here, I feel rather sorry for you.

What don't I understand? You "ban" someone from the forums OMG! -.- they can make a new acc you know? plus you dont make them stop botting in game

YOU CAN'T HARM BOTS THROUGH A FORUM THAT IS NOT EVEN THE OFFICIAL ONE (nothing against the forum... but its true)

when will people understand...

we're not aiming for a bot-free game. that's not possible if joymax
doesn't cooperate. we're aiming for a bot-free community here on srf.
sure, we lose members. but being a legit, anti-bot forum is what
seperates srf from all other sro forums.

edit: oh, and no, banning them from this forum will probably not make
them stop botting in-game. but the fact that people do make remade
accounts after they get banned, means they do like this forum and just
can't say goodbye to it. which means banning does hurt them in a way.

any of you have a problem with bans of those two "friends",
send me a pm. i rather not discuss this out in the open,
unles you guys want to tell the rest of the forum what your
friends were like in the private section we provided you.

I seriously doubt that since they don't have to wait long times / lost privileges... They just make new acc and no problem to them ...

seriously boy, what's your problem.

you're here to tell us that banning botters is not getting us anywhere?
at least they have to put efford into making new accounts. they will
eventually just stop coming here and find a new community to be a part
of. i'm just wondering if you're insinuating that we should just stop
banning botters and allow everyone we banned in the past back in.
because if that's not what you mean, then idk what the hell you're
whining about now.

edit: okay, i'll make this really easy for you guys this time. look carefully.

a game is not a community. there's a difference.
a game is something you play. a community is a group of people.
now in our case, sro is a game, and srf is a community. okay?

so:
    sro =\= srf

    sro = bot infected
    srf = legit

    sro = going down hill
    srf = here to stay

a community normally outlasts a game because of the contact we
have on forums/msn/whatever. so the fact that sro is bot infected
and people are saying sro will die, does not mean the same goes
for srf.

Leave mike be.. DJ and Sacc take good care of him feeding him hay, letting him graze in the fields and they shear his wool twice a year. One cannot be responsible for ones actions when they lack the ability to understand the fabric of their actions.

Hmmm...I think maybe something about that phrase was lost in translation.

"The fabric of one's actions"? I dunno. :?

The fabric of their actions... The framework...

Fabric, sometimes substituted for 'framework'

Quote:
frame·work Audio Help /ˈfreɪmˌwɜrk/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[freym-wurk] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. a skeletal structure designed to support or enclose something.
2. a frame or structure composed of parts fitted and joined together.
3. the construction or sale of frames.
4. work done in, on, or with a frame.

Framework can be replaced with structure

Quote:
9. Sociology.
a. the system or complex of beliefs held by members of a social group.
b. the system of relations between the constituent groups of a society.
c. the relationship between or the interrelated arrangement of the social institutions of a society or culture, as of mores, marriage customs, or family.
d. the pattern of relationships, as of status or friendship, existing among the members of a group or society.

So you're saying they don't understand why they report botters and therefore they cannot be held responsible for their actions. Your attempt to appear intelligent failed, they can be held responsible and they do understand their actions. You make claims based on nothing and I suspect you to be a disgruntled person they may have exposed. Care to explain where your dislike of DJ, Mike, and Sach stems from?

Too funny, they are always using the same kind of insults, even on new characters they try to hide on.

Lol me too. I fully understand the realtionism between the complexitinarian viewpoints of the campriconial time period and interpentagonalistic eras now.

SRF isn't dying. Learn to spell before you post as well.
