so regular plvl is cheating?

I thought it was just taking advantage of a game feature

That's why they made it so there is a limit on what lvl of mobs start giving less xp.
In my view plvl in a very gray area. How many times have you seen players just standing their doing nothing and being plvl though many levels. Their not playing the game (which is a grind). Missing out on many parts of it, like the first time they get killed by a new mob and choosing what and where to grind for fun, a challenge or just because they like it. The quests and learning your char skills and weakness, your favoured attack styles. Meeting players and grind in parties etc.
I joined a party of 7 and I spoke with a 2 handed warrior, they had that char plvl via a bot up to LV72 and then botted to LV80, there was also a nuker LV80 botting, I left the party as I like to grind with legits. The point, is as player botters don't even put the effort in to really play the game (grind) plvl'ing can be used in a very similar way. I get many request from players asking for plvl, I won't help them as their not willing to learn and help them selfs (hello parties are fun and great EXP). All they want is a free/ea$y ride to level up. It comes down to the fact the game is grind and people need to understand that. If they can't handle grind they should try an easier game. I like
putting in the effort and rise to the challenge to get results, that what part of playing is about in ANY GAME.
