Possible 4th race? [Suggestive Proof]

you may be assuming too much about how joymax plans to balance things, maybe there will be 2 party races and 2 solo races? or 2 balanced races or they may not even try to make them either balanced based on party play

Yea, if it is a 4th, then it blows your theory away Barotix

2 solo and 2 partys would be more reasonable in that case IMO.

A 4th race really does screw me over but I just don't understand how or why they would be implemented. I'm going to stand by the interviews and official statements on the site, afaik 3 races. Cruor laid it out nicely.

I am kinda stuck in the middle about this. I would like to see a 4th race because it would mean more expansive, but then again I like the way you put it being solo,party,and balanced. And cruor makes sense. The point in me posting this was to introduce the possibilty.

the Silkroad was not done to be a small and rather limited game with a great variety of possibilities.

point is we dont' know yet, how ever the fact there is an idain npc leads me to lean on as it was at least thought of by joymax

The 4th race should be the Mongols. They pretty much pwned everyone and conquered the whole silkroad. Just look at the map.

Problem solved: There is no fourth race and if there were it's addition would complicate the game, thank you for bringing forward that .gif. Cruor was right.

East-West Axis: Reality (i.e) China, Europe, and The Middle East. They include the three races and their associated NPCs. The NPCs are distinguished from each other with their respective sign, dragon, shield, and eye of Horus.

North-South Axis: Fantasy (i.e) Heaven, Taoist World, India, Taklamakan, Buddhist World. Three out of two of those include a sign for their NPCs, meaning that there will be NPCs in the following places: Heaven, Taoist World, and India. In order to distinguish NPC from NPC they are each given their sign. To go further, I suspect Those last 3 worlds to be the end-game points. I also believe that they cannot be reached via land travel (like Taklamakan) but need to be reached via teleportation, hence the Indian NPC in Jangan whom (given the predictable nature of MMOs) will be able to send them to Heaven, Taoist World, or India. If they so choose, also following the same patterns most MMOs exhibit, these last worlds will be restricted to only players high enough to grind there. If Heaven, India, and Taoist World Have NPCs that means the following will be located there: New Potions, New Horses, New Transports, Fortress, 11th and 12th Degree Gear (The final two degrees, as stated by Joymax), and of course: Mobs.

There Will be Three Races.
Three End-Game Areas that have their own NPCs.
12 Degrees in Gear each representing an animal on the Chinese Zodiac.
There are 6 Reality cities each of which surrounded by historical/mythical landmarks.
There are 5 Fantasy regions, three of which most likely have cities and NPCs.

I see what they did there. Originally it was: Buddha World, taoist world, and heaven. They replaced Buddha world with India. And unless "Buddhist" is going to be race number four, there is no fourth race.

^^, maliko, i never see it icon in client´s (ksro, jsro, isro , kjbetasro) in site too, i see ones fail in icon, other questios is, "out layout" about other icons in use for joymax, see too icon about fortress downhang, tarin basin, evil order, europe, hotan, samarkand.

Judging by that map, it looks like each race gets 25% of the map. And 3 races doesnt make 100% so 4th race might be in the works.

legend no is 100% correct see "weast asia" u see any tower with hand (prabability hand of god)? is hard use it map for get real dimension of game.

The UFO is to show the stories behind the Silk Road Online. Remember all the mobs and area are based off the lore and legends of those regions. They are using the three primary civilizations that participated in the silk road during its High Time. The Islamic caliphate is on the rise, the Tang is Falling, and Eastern Rome is getting bombarded by Various Muslim Turks. ~700 AD, the Indians (at that point) Would be under siege by the Caliphate. The game is a recreation of the Silk Road @700 AD using the ancient lore, legends, and myths. The Silk Road was plagued with all kinds of Vermin (Thieves) who would occasionally lose their heads to bounty Hunters (Hunters) whom were issued by the Emperor/Caliphate to escort the Caravans across the Silk Road.

How Many of you guys read the site before speculating? The pk2 can only throw hints and remember the human eyes sees what it wants to see. I suspect the fourth race to be a false positive.
