Most important thing u need on "Silk"road Online is silk=$ player with all the buff of Premium+ vs Non premium= the player with Premium+ has a HUGE advantage
to be honest if i was unable to buy silk I would had quit a VERY LONG TIME ago. the disadvantage of not buying silk is just too huge.
on pvp
Most important is gear>>>luck (stun, crit)>>>some skills
Here are some of my advantages (not all require silk) The ones that require silk are mainly use for job wars and sometime CTF
Lets say I want to pvp with this on =.= Here are some of my final tier pieces

Well, imo one does not really need skills when you pvp. its just luck, gear, and button smashing. --CRITICAL--...dead...(at least for me)
PVP is really not a challenge, BUT when you go into FW or a trade run....anything can happen... does one need any skils, or at least a brain?....in a trade run, if you are not quick enough to look at who is attacking, calling for help, running away, looking at your life bar, Clicking on that vigor..you pretty much dead ....hummm...i believe you need a certain degree of skills for that. Shit, i actually had never been so exited about this game since CTF came out, PVP was nothing after that...now my next big thing is FW.
EDIT: Shit, nvm what i said...i might have used SKILLS wrong...I meant to say...."one may need a certain amount of EXPERIENCE for that.
Skills, i call being able to play an instrument like the guitar and being good at it.
u need common sense, which could be construed in a weird way into skill.
ex. if u'r group pvping and a blader kd the person everyone's hitting at, he's a nub w/o common sense. if a warrior kb mobs into wizards, he's a nub w/o common sense.
roguekiller: chains? really? many bladers have killed just spamming kd o.o

well...if you got a dual build u need some skills, like blader\glavier or s\s spear int is pretty hard to use....u need to switch weapon in the right moment and use the right skill when u need it,but mostly of builds in sro dont need so much skill..
I don't wanna start flaming or anything but look at you, if you are so pissed why the hell are you on here if you don't even like S.R.O?I don't see the point of you on a forum about S.R.O

OT: it does take some skills to be able to play it like in pvp you can tell who the noobs are and people who know how to play
well, 1h will require more skill mostly because of the pot delay. they need to know wat skills to use at wat time. u dont see a good 1h warrior using mana skin when fighting a blader . so lets say they are pvping a bow char. im gonna use warrior in general ( all weps) because i dont know wat 1h skills can do. the bowman uses the 21 m phantom. now a good warrior will use sprint assault. if the warrior doesnt know anything about their build at all, they will just try to catch up with the bowman, and because of their ha, they will be dead meat by the time they are able to attack. lets say the bowman is about to use strong bow/devil arrow. both these skills take a reasonalbe amount of time to cast. and a crit on one of these will result in the warrior being dead (or almost dead). the warrior needs to cancel off the attack, by either using kb/kd if they 2h, kb if they are 1h, or stun if they are using DA. and thats just in pvp. in pve (in a party), warriors have a hard job as tanks.
being a blader is quite easy. use imbue, chains, kd, double stabs (if they kded them), another kd, stabs (if they kded them), chains, repeat. they may use their 2 range skills depending on the switching, but, meh.
That what you said about Warrior is only pure logic ... And yeah daemon ... you got pwned ... multiple times >.>
Its better to shut your mouth and give impression of being stupid, than opening your mouth and remove all doubts ...

this game really dosnt need intelligence, more like common sence... and anyone who play this game for a week and have full sun set can do good in a pvp

By far glaivers require the least amount of skill, seeing how ALL of there strongest attacks only have a 3 second cooldown u can cycle through 3 of them and always hit for a ton of damage.
Bladers are probly second least skill required, spam your knockdowns whenever u can, if they dont work use chains until your knockdown cooldown is done.
Nukers roughly cycle through 2 or 3 nukes (one usually being incredibly weak just trying to buy time until there stronger ones are done cooldown), if theyre a s/s nuker they may throw a knockdown in or spear they may use a GS.
I think being a bower is a lil more difficult (not saying its hard) because Strong Bow has such a LOOOONG cooldown (8 seconds). I usually cycle 4 skills (strong bow, anti devil, devil and combo) but its CRUCIAL what order i use them in if i wanna be able to use a constant barrage of heavy attacks and not be stuck for a few seconds with nothing to use waiting for my devil arrow or Strong bow to finish its cooldown.
ROFL and don't get me started on Euro's, warriors, warlocks, are the only classes that take skill....Cleric = offering (if you wanna be lame), Rogues and wizards = Stealth / invis, pinch / metoer, run into safe zone. you are a disgrace to PvP ^^

lmao in the video you have labled "good glaiver" hes spamming to, the only difference between the two ppl in those videos is this, one has a sun glaive and one don't.
both thos videos where so bad tho that i didn't even watch the bower one because it probly would have been a disgrace to my class.

spamming is: 1234 repeat Over and Over without using sense. Having your finger over your imbue key and having your finger over your next move isn't spamming. There are massive differences between glaiver one and glaiver two.
Continuously pressing 3 (imbue) and 6 then pausing and reacting based on what move you used previously. The other guy was lucky he killed anyone at all. Guy two used Ghost Spear when his HP was low to bring it back up. Guy one used Ghost spear whenever the cooldown was done. Guy two used SSS, WS, and SSE to break his opponents defense. Guy one spammed Soul, Windless, and GS. In any order. Guy two did all his moves in a particular order and you didn't see his whole UI light up with yellow squares due to retarded spamming. Guy two used GS as a finisher and was capable of keeping the enemies HP in mind. Guy one was just inadequate.

Lol still funny have u think spamming the imbue key isn't "button mashing" or that it's acceptable ...Soul fire force imbue lasts 8 seconds, once its up u dont have to keep mashing it like ur gunna get more power out of it rofl. I dunno maybe i'm the only one with good enough perifferal vision to see my imbue buff in the top corner when its about to run out and press my imbue hotkey twice at most at start it up again. It's not that hard to multitask attacking and keeping track of your imbue, but hey i could be wrong and maybe i'm just that much better than a so called "good bow" and "good glaive" which is fine by me, shows i'm more skilled than people with suns (ande how bad they are).
so thanks actually, i am indirectly flattered by your comments and opinion .
maybe if i ever come back to SRO i'll get fraps and i'll show you how to fight without button mashing ANYTHING.

I'm ok with a person mashing their imbue key. It doesn't impede their ability to PvP well. When I play I don't spam, I might mash Dual counter once I stun but thats because sometimes pressing a move once won't make it activate.
Someone mashing imbue won't be worse (at PvP) than someone who doesn't mash imbue. mashing the imbue key in no way effects your ability to kill. How is this a valid argument of what makes a player good or bad at pvp?
Button Mashing doesn't = Spamming. Spamming is going down your quick slots pressing every skill that is available. You might as well just pick up your keyboard and rub the numbers against your head.
Once again, you can tell what #1 was doing and what #2 was doing.
Gear is irrelevant in this comparison. You can tell number one doesn't know what he is doing and number two is actively trying to keep up the DPS. Did you read my points comparing the two?
Your typical INT would start off the fight with one Lightning Chain and Stone Smash, then mash KD+Stab until he KD's two or three times in a row and then nuke to finish off, if needed.
First of all, notice, throughout the video, how he manages to maintain consistent DPS. He does that through two basic moves: the Flying Stone Smash and the Lion Shout. Those are used in between the consistent damage moves (like Knockdowns or Nukes), to maintain the all-important DPS. That's what I was talking about in my previous post too (when I referred to people who nuke after a ghost spear).
After almost every successful KD + Stab, he does a Flying Stone Smash. The reason behind doing this is two-fold: keeping up the stream of damage and, maybe, inflicting bleed status in anticipation for the next KD. Sometimes, KD + Stab is followed by Lion shout, with pretty much the same effect as the Stone Smash - to maintain a constant stream of damage, using up very little time in the process.
Notice the nuke at 0:26? It's Flame Wave Bomb. Why? Notice he's not PvP-ing with snow shield on. Because it casts much faster than the other ones, and he can still do some damage before the enemy reaches him, without being exposed during the time the nuke is casting (as would have happened, for example, with flame wave wide or horse's thunderbolt). As opposed to this demonstration of good play, at 0:31, his opponent does a mistake. He runs towards him, then plays GSM. That's a total waste. It's logical that he would have had time to pot before the GSM hit him, and, also, after the GSM. The result is quite simple: that GSM is worthless.
2:10 - the lion shout after the thunderbolt is very good, once again. After the nuke, he intended to do a Knockdown. Demon Blade force takes a while to cast, and leaves you exposed in the meantime, apart from partially interrupting the damage flow. That Lion shout doesn't slow anything down, but it helps keep the flow of damage coming.
That is the object of an INT: to maximize his damage output over a certain period of time, given the fact that INT's have low survivability. That's the whole point behind the build, and what I've shown above are examples of how it should be done. It's all about squeezing the best out of your build. That's where the skill in SRO comes into play.
In one word: optimization.

and +1 to apy
imho warlocks need the most luck and skill in pvp. a warlock who use 2 curses, 1 nuke, and hits regular attacks till their nuke is recharged, they are bound to die all the time. a warlock who use his stuns/sleeps/trap/curses/debuffs at the right time, he will be the best pvper. also, using vampire kiss at the right times matter too .

nah, thats pretty much mashing. all you have to do is hit the key once and it will do the skill. if i ever fraps me pvp sometime (tho id would be low lvl so i doubt anyone would care ) i use mouse (which is beside the point, i dont like pressing the keys, never got used to it) i click it once, skill is used, then i click a new one and it gets qued for when the skill i just used is over. theres no need to do this 1111111151111111111311111113333333334444222222222211111111111122222111111111222111111222361111111333333311111 1 being imbune
