Actually, they avoid doing multistars because they are afraid of losing a million gold to that lvl 90 thief waiting at the gate for them to come out.
That makes a lot more sense. How about a bracket based on star level?
1 Star, people +/- 5 your level can attack you.
2 Star, people +/- 10 your level can attack you.
3 Star, people +/- 20 your level can attack you.
4 Star, people +/- 40 your level can attack you.
5 star, Free for all.
Increased profit for increased risk is a good idea. However, I don't think there should be a minimum on the level you can be attacked, since that really isn't a big risk hehe. *imagines party of lvl 20 thieves attacking a lvl 30 1 star trader*
