it's not dumb considering Joymax states in the help section, cartoons, and in sro.net in the past that Chinese should only have 2 masteries as a main rather than 3 main ones.

so you mean nukers are gonna have to give up ice for light/fire?

140 light + 140 bicheon + 20 ice = 300

Oh the horror

Joymax has farked us all

You are a nuker, you dont need any weapon skills. ice-light and for the ones that have many euro friends light-fire.

'kay, everbody just stfu!
The levelcap is gonna be 116 and 46%, nothing more, nothing less! :banghead:

Srysly tho, i think it will be lvl 140. Just because, about 2 years ago, we had no clue, even i pk2, that the skills would go further than 70; but it did because JM made new skills and added them into the game. Same with D10, which wasn't in PK2 2 years ago.
They will add new things to the game.

Or to get skills that start at 20, such as snowshield, bicheon force, counter, sky and others that we don't know of yet.

counter ? wut does it do

If I wanted to max just Bicheon skills, I'd still have to alternate between a three and four gap. Like I said, you would have to make great sacrifices either way.

I don't think you understood what I typed. Your answer is what I basically said. It's not impossible if you know how to alternate correctly

Code:
1-2 gap per 1 mastery + chinese + 2 masteries = you will be farmed.

1~2 gap per 1 mastery = 2-4 gap the entire way.

Cruor wrote:
The last degree ends in the 130s. Lowering it would mean they would have to restat a ton of gear. If they drop the last twenty levels, we won't be getting 12th degree gear

120 to me just makes sense. 100 cap = 10D, 11D = 110, 12D = 120. But if the cap is 140, I suspect that the last 20 levels are "special" gear that do not relate to the zodiac and what not.

It would make more sense if the tiers were more spread out or had more than 3 tiers to make up for the 20 lvl gap.

You do not NEED light or fire. You need 1 weapon + 1 force. By the time Joymax forces everyone to go 2 masteries, I can bet you anything that their will be alchemy stones or a type of new skill in each mastery to make up for loss of speed, power, or defense.

Remember, this game is no where near finished.

Hawaii, Cruor is right. I've always said this, and I'm like 99% sure it's true, the cap is 140. It points to it with logic, in the pk2 files, max level info is lv 140 (and they've always been like that, if you check in the right places, I'm not talking about degrees, but about mob drop info and stuff). My guess is the cap is 140, they might change it to 120 though for ease, 120, 120, 60 builds would work fine for alot of people.

So my guess is 140, but they might decide to change it and make it 120 for the player's sake.

I think we can safely say that no one will ever reach level 140 by hand.

It took me 2 and a half months to be 80 fully farmed. (1-80)
It took me 1 and a half months to be 90 fully farmed. (81-90)

I dont think it's gonna be super crazy to reach 140 or 150 if they open it 10 lvls at a time. This ofcouse by party play for euro. I cant comment on chinese.

D8 3rd tier chest = 78. (80 Cap)
D9 3rd tier chest = 90. (90 Cap)
D10 3rd tier chest = 104. --> OR no 3rd tier OR D10 is no 100 Cap

D9 = 81, 85, 90 So considering D10 works the same as D9 that will make 95, 99, 104. (Just for the people who want to know how I got to 104)

No, it's cumulative, meaning total experience gained. But as you can see, 0-90 isn't even a drop in the bucket.

100 would be the perfect lvl cap for SRO, joymax should just make the new areas be for lower lvl players instead and end powerlvl. Then the game would be so much fun omfg

People said no one would reach 60 by hand, then 70, then 80, then 90, now 100, now 140? Don't make assumptions based on..nothing.

Just reached that last week :) But I think I might not make it too lvl 90, it will just take too much time. Don't talk about lvl 100+ which will be unmakeable with the current bot-situation.

Tell me that after you've killed the 1.3 million mobs it takes to get 99% at 140.

140, said it ever since I started with pk2 editing.

All mob's / npc's / pet's etc etc go to 140. There is no doubt in my mind that it will NOT be 140. Sure it's easy to say it will be 150 if you have been spoon fed crap.

From LevelData.txt:
Code:
1   118   1   0   0   24   70875   70875   70875
2   470   1   0   0   47   2388750   2388750   2388750
3   1058   1   0   0   71   8793750   8793750   8793750
...
140   40598223991   116614   0   0   30462   -1   -1   -1

The second column is experience to level, the sixth column is experience on a zero gap for a mob your level. Of course, there is a 9% experience bonus on iSRO which seems to be relatively permanent, but even taking that into account you would still have to kill 1.2 million mobs.

Did you account for future quests, possible changes in exp gain, and uniques? Not to mention party mobs, tickets, euro parties, ect..

The number of mobs need to kill to reach lvl 140 is: 1145692
If u can kill 4000 mob a day, u'll need at least 286 days = 9.2 months

Chart
Image
Image

That is based on the killing rate of someone who kill a mob each 5s in 5.5 hours (nuker with pet). Yes, 8 years. If u think u hunt slower than that, let's say 1000 mob per day = 32 years.
A nuker without pet need 16 years.
For a blader without pet is 24 years. (again sorry in advance)
A bot takes less time, divide those number by 4 coz it plays 24/24
If your actual speed is 1000-2000 mobs a day, u can think of quitting this game now to not waste in it before u can see all your friend become bots.

11th 1st tier chest armor will start at 105
2nd => 110
3rd => 115
12th 1st => 120
2nd => 125
3rd => 130

If the cap is lvl 140, ppl will almost 1-2 hitted each other because the difference skill-armor(npc) is 10. So if they make the cap 130, the game will be more balanced and not as wicked to lvl up as cap 140.
If after cap 100, the tier step stays the same, 4, u can conclude that the max cap is 120, happy for everyone.

Imagine a Silkroad never touched by botting or powerfarming, and it will all make sense to you.

Maxing three trees is not supposed to be easy. Even maxing two trees is impossible without some considerable gapping here and there. This is because Joymax never intended for you to sit there and max out everything with ease. They did not design the game with the intent of forcing you into spending countless hours farming or botting. Rather, the game is designed to force you into making sacrifices.

Yea sacrificing your social life lolz
