lol kid? How the fuck could you say that when you understand shit? What i'm trying to say is that someone claim we shouldn't compare real life and game. So i did like he asks to prove he wrong, that in many case, it's necessary to compare these two.

Alright I'll answer it. If one of them hacked me, I would be upset. But, I also know that the rest of my friends would have my back in making that guy's life hell.

For instance. A friend of ours scammed someone on another server. That person came to Hera, we got to know them, and then we found out about the scamming. So we all got together and made that friend give the stuff back. Even on a completely different server. That's how my friends work.

In essence, yes. I would feel fine if one of my friends "hacked" me.

The thing is, which I'm not sure most people here realize, is that while it is possible for everyone to have fun in a way which everyone is having fun and no one is being a jerk and griefing is possible. But is it probable? No. Ping, you seem to think you're above everyone else for fighting bots to the nails, but you're not. What many don't see is that yes, while it is possible for Everyone to get along, it probably will never happen. Especially in a game like INTERNATIONAL SRO. People playing this game have certain tendencies towards other groups. This game only amplifies it. Many 3rd world countries play this game simply to be the best at something. This causes others from an opposing country to get mad when x race beings owning the server. They join forces and bot so they can quickly beat the shit out of the bots. This continues until the only legits remaining are players that could careless about owning and more about having fun with friends. This is a very small minority. Proof? Look at Venus. Supposedly the haven of legits, notice how it's ONLY 1 server. That shows you just how outnumbered we are. 1:36. Many play for the satisfaction of winning. Just like in other games, CS for example. Ppl play to kill and win. There is no, let's all hold hands. If you want shit like that, go play some teletubbies game. Sure it's possible for us to all get along, but not very probably at all.

You might argue that you don't have to be capped to win, but I highly doubt a lvl 80 with good gear, an excellently built stats, and fully farmed can kill a shitty npc botter with half ass skills at lvl 100. You also don't have to bot, but botting is rampant due to people's greed at winning. They see it as the easy way out.

Upset? So that answer a lot of questions. Even being a friend, you feel upset, so how the fuck do you thing many players in the game cannot be upset when a stranger destroys the game?

Why is it like that only in SRO then. All the other MMOs I have played were never that way. Griefing was rare and people were generally respectful. Oh wait I was playing with adults there that is why. My bad.

Again this is only in SRO. Other international MMOs I have played do not have this issue. You cannot argue a greater morality from such a narrow standpoint. And when I played CS cheaters got punted or raped. Win or loose at the end of every round it was GG etc not fack mother.

And? If you play legitly 5h a day with a premium ticket, sooner or later you'll reach lvl 100. It's not like it's a must to reach the max lvl in a shortest time.

No one has said it's a must. It is, however, human nature to find the easiest way of doing something. Botting would be that way. I am not condoning or supporting it, I accept it though. Plus, I don't play that shithole of a game anymore. WoW<3

Which reminds me. In WoW, it's not necessary to have Add-Ons. But Carbonite/QuestHelper have made my questing process 100000x faster. Could I cap without them? of course. Would it take longer? Definitely.

ADD-ON is simply tools that help your gaming experience, it doesn't DESTROY others gaming experience such as the hell lag in Hotan, server traffic due to god knows how many stalls a botter use multiclient, ksing, buy gold etc...

Wrong. All those games you mentioned have one thing in common that Silkroad does not. In every one of those games, the aim of the game is to beat your opponent(s). To reach an objective and thus be announced the winner.

In Silkroad there is no winner. There is no score, no ultimate goal to reach, nothing like any other game. That is what makes it different.

The aim of Silkroad is to role play. Hence the name Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Not Massive Multiplayer Online Beat The Other Team Game.

I quit because I realized that WoW is better in every single way. Plus most of my friends stopped playing.

In those games, they have refs, and those in the background that check the rules and make sure they apply to all. In Silkroad, we have people who seem to have very large objects stuck in their anal region while they yell at what they think might be "cheaters" on a forum.

Why do I even bother to put pearls before swine. Hunter/trader team. Thief team. Guild Vs Guild war. Fort defense team VS fort attackers. And BTW never met anyone that roleplayed on SRO unless you consider acting like a retarted 12 year old role playing. Why you feel a need to fail so hard?

Throwing on a Hunter, Thief, or trader suit is roleplaying. Logging onto Silkroad is role playing. Not in the literal meaning like you are interpreting, but it is role playing.
