My point is if this forum against botting cuz it ruins the game the it should be against plvling & pfarming too . lol, that would be grey zone here, there are countless debates about that in GD, noone can make any true line because: apparently everyone here must be against bots but everyone wants a benefit from the pwr lvling it will stay as long as joymax doesnt change itSo if joymax tomorrow allows botting will this forum allow it too .

basically.... I would hope not. I don't think SRF is simply against botting for the sole reason that it's against TOS. I guess I could be wrong.

basically.... invalid arguement. joymax will never "officially" allow bots, altho we all know they allow them already.

It's really more or less "abused"-- the system is like this so exp is distributed evenly among the party because everyone, theoretically, should be pulling their own weight in the party-what ever their class being. People said the same thing about the academy system. I've often heard it called the "power leveling system" by some people. That system was intended for high levels to teach low levels about the game, not to just drag them around on horses for 40 levels. Yeah, I know and it's sad that this is what sro has come to but like I said before" for every one person willing to put in the effort there's a half assed who can't be bothered," and it's this mentality that will eventually be the downfall of sro.

Lol for every person that puts an effort into sro, there's at least 10 people that ruin it.

Power lvl isn't whats caused the problems, its botting+powerlvling, I see no problem is someone wants to actually grind and lvl someone else up, it's still grinding and someone actually playing. If there wasn't bots doin it all time it owuldn't be near as much, players cant do it 24/7, and unless its like someone lvling an alt probably aren't gonna do it near as much anyway.
If joymax allowed botting I would still think its stupid.

If joymax allowed botting I would still think its stupid. Problem with a lot of the legit power levelers is a lot of them think they own the place, KSing everything and everyone in sight. Some of them try and work so fast at killing, they pay no attention to the fact that others are in the area trying to grind. Some of them go even further and try to purposely KS you to get you to leave the area so they can plvl their noob. Some lvl 64+ glaiver tried to do that to me once at the mujigis (on my Venice blader). He kept attacking everything my party was attacking, especially giants. So, I just kept KDing the giants over and over. My party couldn't help kill, but neither could the glaiver. He ran away eventually. Edit: I think at least if you're going to power level someone, at least have the decency to do it in a somewhat secluded area. Sure, you'll get a little slower spawn rate, but the party mobs will still come especially if you have a full party. Don't be greedy.

With players at least theres a good chance the person isn't an ass, with a bot its 100% gonna ks if your in close to it. But see, you made that player leave, a bot wont leave. Personaly when I powerlvld it it was annoying when someone would come close to me, but I never ks unless they did, I just kept to an area opposite of them and tried to share, if they became a problem I would try to make em leave, if I couldn't I did.

If it was a bot we'd make them drop stuff often. Once a guy came back from afk and begged for us to return his ring he dropped. Something similar to that or I'd get pissed and lure on their noobs <.< I used to do that constantly when Jackal plvled me actually. So I guess you could add that to the list of things to do while being plvled lol =x I lured on a legit party once in a safe zone when the guy had to go afk..>.>

I was powerlvling sacchin ongs once, some wiz around 80 or so came ot try to take over our spot.
I ended up hitting him and running lol, he would chase me then I get on a horse and make him red then kill him >.>.
Or another time some nuker and his guildmates were at our spot so I murdered him then ran to town, out the back of samarkand and died it off real quick then pmd the guy trying to piss him off and telling him ill come kill him again and to wait for me at the gate, while me and sacch went back to ongs to powerlvl lol, kept him busy for a bit, he didn't come back.

Well that's true bots KS a lot too. At least you have a chance to deal with legit players, but I've found a lot of those that KS too.
I don't often run into that problem on Venus though. Then again, I'm only lvl 38 so haven't seen the high lvl areas yet...
