I will reply to my own post. LOL. After doing a little research, assuming mmosite is accurate looks like akiller could be 100% correct. Seems strange joymax would go backward from the progression that has existed since 1d but who the heck knows anymore.

100 = Chest, Legs and necklace.
99 = Foot, Head and earing's.
98 = shoulder, hands and rings.
and 96 is 2nd tier chest and legs.

Why have they changed the lvls for eq >.>, should just be 1 piece per lvl(of a new tier).

I think I liked the 70 cap style mostly, only 1 tier was available I think? So only sos was available, but I think they should just release the 1st two tiers, or make em so the first two goto 100, leaving the 3rd tier waiting for the 110 cap along with the 10th degree suns and 1st & 2nd tiers of 11th degree, so no suns around until they are a degree behind at the next cap.

for those who have any hope:

a botter exposed in "Exposed Botters" section posted a screen shot with his bots and stats of each.

His bots dropped 2191 items together, and none is higher than 6x.

Now, whats ur chance of gettin a sox, grindin 3 or 5 hours/ day?
