Maybe us low level noobs should all try a bit of a different attitude ... :P

Don't worry so much about the high levels. Consider them a colorful and interesting part of the surroundings but realize that they are mostly pretty to look at but not there to touch. High levels can make lots of fun explosions and occasionally relieve the boredom of training with their weird comments on global chats.

Works for me. :D

i do this alot of time if the answer too complex/too long. I always have time to response if im not afk. Even when my gt is on i still can chat (due the lagyness). I consider my self as a good guy :D

but, i just hates this noobs:
-gold/item/silk/wolf beggar
-lv up beggar
-trade/chat/whisper spammer

if i can start this game with zero gold & level, so do u(noob)

Ummm no its not like that.

-----------------------

How do I use tablets?
What do you mean?
Where do I get elements?
Those arn't elements.
How do I break them
Whats a rondo
I don't get it
Where do I buy that?
No, thats the wrong kind.
I don't have inventory space.
I have elements and tablets, now what?
It doesnt work.
I don't understand.
Yes I put them all in.
No I didn't look.
Well, where do I get more?
That cost a lot of money
I bought more but it doesnt work
Which button?
Now I have a stone but it won't go
Yes its the kind I want
No, do I need more than one?
Oh, the degree actually matters
Do you have any tablets?
Can I have some elements?
How much is this stone worth?
Is this a good price?
I stalled for 10 minutes and no one bought it
So your ignoring me now?
Well thanks for nothing.
Stupid high levels.

Yeah so it was real fun the first time around; and fun explaining it a million times when alchemy was new. And it was fun when guildmembers were learning it. 56K recently started playing and asked all of what... 3 questions? Hes smart, what can I say :D

But guess what, its not fun anymore. Its quite tiring.

Mmmmm, lowbies are willing to believe anything you say if you're in 8D. For fun, I once tricked a newbie into leaving an item on the floor until it disappeared. Yes, I'm an ass and yes, it made me laugh my ass off.

One time, Foilin convinced this annoying noob that if he logged off the game and back in ten times, then ran all the way around Don, he'd get "God Mode". He did it. When it didnt work, Foilin convinced him that he miust have messed up and got him to do it all again...

Hillarious.

Well, I have a level 70 and a level 33 (made that level yesterday :) ) on Venice.
I started the new char, because it is so annoying to be in the cave (to full, bots, ks and everything) and to be out of the cave ... "Can you hunt me", "Can you level me", "You are 64+ you have nothing to do, level me", "Give me Gold I need a wolf" and so on.

I tried to answer questions about the game (builds, alchemie, whatever), but it was the same as Rioku wrote... and sometimes I stand in the cave answering those questions, while mobs attack me (goldtime running, pots running...) and a "High-level" came across with a comment like "why don't you fight the mobs?"
Because I can't chat and fight....

In my low level times I never asked for gold, levelling or whatever, I don't do it today with my sec. Char.
When I am online with my low level Char I see level 64+ ignoring me (I just changed the Char, a few seconds before they want me for their guild,- because I am so nice, not because of level 70 - Hahaha), - ppl from the party I was in before don't want me in their party again, and when I say "Hi", I get no respons or just "noob".

Now the point,- my both Chars have the name Illyriah (I played with the i and L) - so some players only look at the weapons and chlothes!

This is of course not for all, but reacting/speaking in a unpolite or ignorante way is not depending on the level... only on the typing person.

Hm.. this is what I did...
I globaled that a bug has been discovered, if you run 10 times around the teleport you will get SoS item. I did that 2-3 times. Every time shit load of idiots were running around the tele, even some 64+ noobs. In the process I was saying, it only works in Hotan, then DW, then it's 50 laps not 10, etc... :D

edit: it would appear I got selfowned, I wanted to post this under ARE U MEAN thread.

ahh yes the seal of galaxy quest you sent him on. You ran him around for an hour telling him to do stupid stuff. It was hilarious. 3 people tell him not to listen to you, yet he does.

He was compensated for it quite well. Money well spent for the entertainment.

Ok here's the issue. Why keep asking so many-easy-to-find-answer?

Like Ryoko stated, if i have to answer that kind of question 10 times a day for a month, i sure going to quit SRO. Many FAQ can be found here or sro.mmosite. Some questions i know require experience and i am happy to answer it if i know it.

But questions like:

How to buy arrows?
Where to get gold?

SHIT!!!!!

Show me your spear
Show me your gear

DAM!!!!!

anyways u all high lvls here in this forum are verey helpful and i love u ALL HIGH LVLS :D .

Again, missing out something. Once you're bombarded with retarded questions by low lvl, what we do? CLose all chat windows temporary. Then when we go and grind, we stretch it back. When we see the message, i admit some are too lazy to type it out because he is just too tired.

Would you like to answer:

Where to buy arrows? X10 everyday?
Where to get this and that....? X10

In my previous posts, i have already stated that it is because most low lvl people are giving the high lvl people bad impression. When someone get a bad impression, he will think lowly of you and do you think he wants to help?

Most of the time I stay away from Jangan and dw. I have had people asking me "pls give 1mil so I can buy wolf" or once I had "pls give me 10mil so I can buy sos bow" or something like that o.O and then they spam the exchange window... I usually answer if they have questions and so.

And yesterday when I was on Xian I was in Jangan, and a guy in 2x kept exchanging me all the time, so annoying when it popped up all the time. I went to the stable and he ran after me and continued exchanging me, then I asked what? He said if I wanted to buy a lvl22 wolf... I was only lv16 and farming.. -.-

When I was noob I didn't dare to ask the highlvls anything cause I thought they were so cool, and I still think they are. Not all but a few.. xD

lol @ Ryoko's tablet/element "conversation" :P

i think when i get my character to 6x or 7x i will go to jangan (if i need to go there) with a 3x armor or something like that. A month ago my wife started a new character and as i was bored of grinding i got my main character to jangan and put the lvl 1 armor on it (it was lvl 3x). i was running around making jokes to my wife and healing her character from time to time. My wife ended her quest and went back to town so i stay oputside fooling aound with the manjang. i hit one for the not so impresive damage 800 something and a guy next to me started to asking me what lvl i was. then i noticed something, when i started to play the game i didnt know that there was a way to tell between lvl 15- characters and 15+. i think most of the really new users doesnt know that, and many more dont pay atention to that, so a good tip to the higher lvl could be to go with a lower lvl armor.

let me get this straight, you are actually suggesting that we change armor before going into Jangan?

I think not.

Well, it is far too much of a trouble. First it takes your inventory which could be used for other purposes. Second if they forget to change back, the high lvl people will die in seconds in mobs they are training before they knew it

its an idea, not a must. there is allways the option to turn off trades, pm etc.

yep i know the inventory problem. but i also know that some people run around in disguise. lvl 1 armors are cheap and u can send them to strorage for 2 coins. also theres the option to go with no armor. the thing is that if i get too much beggers i would think in take such measure

If you 1* pop for fun, you need a life. I'm not saying you do Pimp, but I just had to say that.

Anyway Amen to this post. The bottom line is: You were all noobs once, so why the hell would you enjoy making another noobs SRO day shitty? You've all asked a 'noobish' question once (noob, by definition, means 'new player': obviously noobs will ask new player questions), so whats the crime in a noob asking you one of those questions when you're higher lvled?

All of you high lvls, you're defending yourselves against things he didn't talk about. He didn't say it was rude to ignore gold beggars. I talk shit to gold beggars. He didn't say it was rude to ignore party request spammers. I ignore them too. He's talking about the harmless, natural questions a noob would ask, such as 'where do I buy void rondo's?', and the asshole replys or lack-there-of delivered back.

FINALLY. someone gets the point of my post!

I'm sure most/all of the high level players get the point of the post too. However, as some of them stated above, although noob questions such as "where do I buy void rhondo?" in and of themselves are fine and nothing wrong with answering them, when a high level player gets low lvls constantly asking them various questions (not counting gold beggars and the like) I can understand that it can get annoying.

I'm not high lvl myself, but if I was getting bombarded by innocent noob questions, I would most likely ignore them too. It doesn't hurt to answer them once in a while, but from the viewpoint of a noob asking these questions, you don't know the reason your question was ignored. It doesn't make the high lvl a snob just because they didn't answer. It could be that they are being spammed by IMs and yours scrolled off the screen. They can't get to all questions even if they tried.

Instead of asking simple questions like that, try looking at the wealth of information there is even just on SRO's official site. Besides, why do you have to ask a lvl 70 where void rhondo is? Just about anyone above lvl 25-30 would know that.

There are a few different ways to look at this. Mine is simple

Newb: Hey, can you help me with something please?
Me: Hey, whats your question?

Newb: hi
Me: ?
Newb: I found a potato
Me: ???
Newb: plzzzz buy it
Me: *turns off chat*

Things that piss me off the most -

Newb: Add me as frienzzz plz
Newb: let me join guild
Newb: I need some gold 4 wolf
Newb: f* u man, think u all up high n shit cauz u high lvl pff, man Imma pwnz u ass with my other char 70
Newb: talk 2 me, u scurrrrred? lol, yah yah Imma ownz u when I level up wait n see biatch!

---Low lvl doesnt not means u can be ignorant. If someone is nice I usually help them, if Im busy I will tell them I can't nicely. But posts like above I usually just dont answer.
