bladers own rogues cuz we got high defence + block and KD

My rogue friend and I use various strategies for killing hunters which, so far, have mostly positive results.

One way is by Scorn. We both alternate scorn on opponents to cancel out their skills repeatedly. We try doing KD with Blast Shot until targets are knocked down, then follow up with Mortal Wounds and maybe Combo Blow once they get up. Timing is essential though. jobbing with a euro in a party rocks, the other day me a lvl 80 glavier were in thief suits waiting for yarkan to spawn, he was by the mages and I was in the arena when a lvl 80 sun sword and sun shield hunter found him, he just let me know he was coming, I went invisible and when he got by me he turned and started fighting and I hit them with a meteor and thats the end of the story, we do that all the time with job war at east gate, I go out a ways and then they lead 1 or 2 to me and I wipe them out.

wouldnt work with me cuz I never go after people when jobbing..atleast, when its a gatefight hehe..

PS: how is your dmg as a hybrid mage?

I really like hybrid, I can survive hits that a lvl 80 dies from but I still hit really hard, I do make sure all my items are int 5 though giving me a 106% mag balance, I only have lvl 76 skills and right now a normal STR glavier I hit for 16-17k and with my buffs on I can survive a soul spear souls or emperor, and if the glavier has lower lvl skills like lvl 72 I can take a soul spear soul and mars unless theres a crit in there, yeah maybe I might not be able to 1 hit everyone that I might have been able to if I was pure but still 90% of the people are still 1 hits exept lvl 80 pure strs are 2 hits, but i survive more now too

you might really want to consider picking up cleric as a subclass, I have bard to lvl 20 for a little more speed when the moving speed scrolls are all gone and then my cleric is at lvl 57 right now, if you really want to annoy someone, last night I was pvping a lvl 72 glavier and buffed my self and left my rod and shield on and just sat there and healed myself, I let them do there best on me for about 2 minutes and then switched back to staff and 1 hit him.

It seems to work on a regular basis, and by having 80% speed they never get near me anyway. o.O

so what your saying is to try everyhting you can do which for the most part still wont work, and how many people are strr bows, maybe 5% of all players, and those 30k invisble/stealth pills only work for 15 seconds then have a 45 second cool down and detect 10m away from you so alot of good that does unless you know exactly were they are and then you cant be under ice wall.

hmmm...bard got some nice phy/mag dmg absorp and I like the speed + noise...

dunno if I should go cleric =/

ohyeah...didnt think about that, ah well...speed and noise is good enough for me to go bard..and I will party grind too so I can use it then hehe

he's right the only thing that I am aware of that is useful to a wizard is noise and speed, thats why my bard is at lvl 20 just for a little extra speed, but there are 3-4 buffs in cleric you can have on while fighting as a wizard, I would highly recommend picking up cleric for you subclass, plus it is nice to be able to heal party members and res them with reverse oblivion if they die, which just makes them into one HUGE tanker if there a str.

for wizard if you max the spear fan buff than theyll only hit you like 7-8k for 15 seconds,even if they get the first hit you should be able to activate the skill and get them in time. For xbow rogue I use fire wall when I can since it prevents kd/kb, than I can usually kill them one hit strongbow-craft, for dagger rogue I don't know since there are hardly any on my server

Erm... ppl were right, it's all about blocking their 1st strike. Do a crystal wall and it will absorb the 1st hit, then do iron wall and 2nd book of frost nova. He's dead meat after all that shit. Ofcourse, that is all possible on pvp only. Why? Cuz u r expecting it. Try it in a trade. U'll nevah know rogue is there before it kills an elephant, or you, his choice. A smart rogue wont attack when the guy is expecting it.
Still, I'm saying - rogues r fun and cool and all that, but a rogue cant take on a whole party. It can kill one or two. What I'm feared of is a wizard.

That's pretty much it. Now, how to stop a wizard? lol

rogue isn't easy to own...coz if he have a good set +4+5, and he use also cleric buff, isn't easy, coz he have a lot of defence and he can recoveru his hp...so...

Oh btw, I never said rogues suck at jobbing. They r practically the best in hunt/thief. Any rogue 68+ can own me in a job, if not 64+.
